    HOW TO INSTALL/UPDATE DotOS OREO FOR Nexus 6 (ANDROID 8.1):

    Follow this guide to Install DotOS Oreo ROM on Nexus 6 for the first time or coming from another Android version:

    Points to NOTE on BACKUP before updating:
    – Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
    – Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
    – It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

    1. Boot into Recovery by one of the following method:
      – Power off the phone and keep pressing key combinations while turning on your phone.
      – If you have enabled USB debugging and you have ADB utility installed on your PC then you can execute the following command on a console or command prompt:

      adb reboot recovery
    2. Wipe data partition (or do factory reset), Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition using the recovery.

      This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM.

    5. Then flash the Android 8.1 Gapps package.

    Upgrading from earlier version of DotOS Oreo for Nexus 6:

    2. Boot into Recovery.

    This CyanogenMod 13 for Oppo Find 7a Android Marshmallow ROM is an official nightly release. When you have an official CyanogenMod release then it will have all basic things working and you may expect for the periodic releases. If something is wrong on this ROM then you can always put your concerns by replying to this thread.

    Required files of CyanogenMod 13 for Oppo Find 7a ROM flashing:

    ColorOS 1.2.8 for oppo Find 7

    Installation guide of CyanogenMod 13 for Oppo Find 7a Android M ROM:

    For Color OS 2 & 2.1 Users (4.4.2 & 5.0) :

    STEP 1:

    Copy the ROM and GApps zip file to your phone (By using a USB cable or via adb push command).
    Boot into TWRP recovery and take a full backup of current ROM.

    STEP 2:

    Download Color OS 1.2.8 and boot into Color OS recovery. (Find the ColorOS 1.2.8 link in the above downloads section)
    Wipe Data and Cache partition.

    STEP 3:

    Flash ColorOS 1.2.8 and let it boot.

    STEP 4:

    Again reboot into recovery and do a clean flash.
    Wipe system partition, cache and data partition. [IMPORTANT]

    STEP 5:

    Select the Install Zip from SDcard option.
    Select the CM 13 Android M ROM zip file and let the installation complete and then reboot and then flash the GApps package and reboot to enjoy Android Marshmallow 6.0 on the Oppo Find 7a.

    For Color OS 1 Users (4.3) and other Custom ROM users:

    STEP 1:

    Copy the ROM and GApps zip file to your phone (By using a USB cable or via adb push command).

    STEP 2:

    Boot into TWRP recovery.
    Wipe system partition, cache, dalvik cache and data partition. [IMPORTANT]

    If you don’t know how to do this then here is how to wipe data using TWRP recovery.

    This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider backing up your phone data or take a nandroid backup. Here is how to take NANDROID backup using TWRP recovery.

    STEP 3:

    Select the Install Zip from SDcard option. Flash the CyanogenMod 13 ROM.
    Wait for the flashing to be done. Reboot the phone and enjoy the CyanogenMod 13 experience with Android Marshmallow on your Oppo Find 7a.

    NOTE:

    The initial boot may take 3 to 4 minutes, so be patient and enjoy the CyanogenMod 13 Marshmallow ROM. After this CM13 installation you may want to enable ROOT access on your phone and here is how you can do that:
