    REQUIRED LINKS AND FILES FOR Redmi Note 4 crDroid 4.0 OREO ROM:

    Root binary is NOT inbuilt in Lineage OS ROM, so you may need a separate SuperSu package or LineageOS su (because crDroid ROM is based on LineageOS) binary to install to gain ROOT access. Here is Lineage OS Rooting guide
    If there is no in-built ROOT or it does not work for some reason then you can try SuperSU rooting guide to enable ROOT access.

    HOW TO INSTALL/DOWNLOAD/INSTALL/UPDATE THE Redmi Note 4 TO THE crDroid 4.0 ROM:

    Follow this if you are installing crDroid 4.0 on the Redmi Note 4 for the first time, or coming from another ROM:

    Points to NOTE:
    – Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
    – Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
    – It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

    • Boot into Recovery.
      Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP or any other custom recovery. If not then download the recovery for Redmi Note 4 from above link and follow the Custom Recovery Installation Guide (it’s a generic guide which will work for TWRP as well as CWM recovery or any other recovery)
    • Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.
      – Here is a guide explaining how to wipe data using TWRP recovery.

      This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM

    • Download and Copy the Oreo GApps and the crDroid 4.0 Oreo ROM ZIP to the phone.
    • First install the Redmi Note 4 crDroid 4.0 Oreo ROM ZIP from device. Then install the GApps zip from your device memory.

    • Then reboot into recovery (don’t skip this) and install the Gapps for crDroid 4.0 package.

    TWRP Download for Nokia 7 Plus and Rooting Guide

    STEP BY STEP GUIDE OF HOW TO INSTALL TWRP FOR Nokia 7 Plus:

     

    1. Connect the Nokia 7 Plus to the PC using the USB cable and install required USB driver
    2. Install 15 Seconds ADB Installer or Minimal ADB and Fastboot for Windows or Linux or MAC as per the PC you have
    3. Unlock bootloader of Nokia 7 Plus
    4. Then, on your PC, go to the directory where you have downloaded the TWRP for Nokia 7 Plus and then open the command console or terminal on this directory on your PC.- To open a command window on Windows OS in the current directory, press shift + Right Click anywhere on Windows explorer, or some folder. Then on the menu opened, just press the “w” key on the keyboard or select “Open command window here” to open a command window.
    5. Now connect your phone to the PC using a USB cable, if not connected yet.
    6. Enter the following command on the opened command window:
      adb reboot bootloader

      to put your phone into bootloader mode where you can flash/install TWRP for Nokia 7 Plus.
      If your phone asks for permission; such as “Allow USB debugging” then just tap on OK to proceed.

    7. Now when your phone is on the bootloader mode just execute the following command on the console:
      fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.x.x-xxx.img

      While executing this command make sure to replace the twrp-3.2.x.x-xxx.img with the actual filename of the TWRP for Nokia 7 Plus

    8. Wait for the fastboot command to install the TWRP for Nokia 7 Plus.
      Once it is done, execute the below command:

      fastboot reboot recovery

      on the command console to start the phone in TWRP recovery mode.

    That’s all. You should have the TWRP installed on your Nokia 7 Plus. You may now want to ROOT Nokia 7 Plus or may want to install some custom ROM or want to explore what else can you do with this TWRP? Head over to the following section to know more.

      – Well, this is a very important aspect to enable ROOT for Nokia 7 Plus. The SuperSU zip file is developed in a way to be installed via a TWRP recovery or other custom recovery. Stock recovery may not be able install this SuperSU or Magisk ROOT on Nokia 7 Plus.
    • Download the latest SuprSU ROOT for Nokia 7 Plus or one of the following:

     

    IMPORTANT NOTE:
    • The Nokia 7 Plus will not be rooted just by installing the SuperSU APK file on your Android phone.
    • SuperSU APK Free or Pro version is just a SuperSU ROOT management application.
    • The SuperSU APK Free or Pro app will ONLY work if you have already ROOTED your Android Phone.

     

    Step-by-Step guide on how to ROOT Nokia 7 Plus using SuperSU or Magisk zip file:

     

    1. Download and copy the SuperSU or Magisk ROOT file to Nokia 7 Plus. (I hope you have already downloaded the SuperSU zip file from the above downloads section)
    2. Now restart the Nokia 7 Plus to boot into TWRP recovery.
    3. Then, Select the Install from TWRP home screen, then select the SuperSU ROOT zip file from the file browser.
    4. Flash or install the SuperSU or Magisk zip file for Nokia 7 Plus, by Sliding the Swipe to Confirm Flash on TWRP screen.Here is a screenshot how to flash the SuperSU ROOT for Nokia 7 Plus via TWRP:

    This guide need the Droid MTK Tool. With the help of Droid MTK Tool we will create the scatter file for BLU Vivo XL2.

    1. Download the Droid MTK Tool from the above Downloads section.
    2. It’s in a zip file, so extract that file or open using WinRar or some application and then open the MTKDroidTools.exe file.

    6. On the next screen you have all the partition information and starting address of all the partitions of BLU Vivo XL2.

    7. Save the scatter file for BLU Vivo XL2 in a location which you can remember and access easily.

    Now Install TWRP on BLU Vivo XL2 using SP Flash Tool:

    Follow the below steps to install the TWRP on BLU Vivo XL2 using the scatter file.

    1. Open the SP Flash tool zip file and then open the flash_tool.exe file.
    2. Click browse on the the scatter-loading file section and select the BLU Vivo XL2 scatter file you created earlier using the MTKDroid Tool.

    4. Then click on the Download button to start downloading/flashing of the TWRP recovery on BLU Vivo XL2 as shown in the picture.

    5. After clicking on the download button you will see a red bar on the bottom followed by a yellow bar.
      When the TWRP is downloaded to BLU Vivo XL2, the SP Flash tool will alert you saying Download is done.

    2. Now restart the BLU Vivo XL2 to boot into TWRP recovery.
    3. Then, Select the Install from TWRP home screen, then select the SuperSU ROOT zip file from the file browser.
    4. Flash or install the SuperSU or Magisk for BLU Vivo XL2, by Sliding the Swipe to Confirm Flash on TWRP screen.
    5. Wait for TWRP to flash the SuperSU or the Magisk. Once the flashing is done just reboot your device.
    6. Profit!!! You should now have a BLU Vivo XL2 ROOT enabled phone.

    How to check if ROOT is enabled on BLU Vivo XL2 or NOT?

    Install the ROOT checker app from the Play Store and verify if your phone is ROOTED or not.

    This Galaxy Grand DUOS Marshmallow ROM (Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for Grand DUOS (I9082/I9082L)), is an Android Open Source Project (AOSP) custom ROM based on Android 6.0.1 built by developer pawitp. Nougat ROM has also arrived: here is the Galaxy Grand DUOS CM14/CyangoenMod 14 Nougat 7.0 ROM.

    Flashing guide of Galaxy Grand DUOS Marshmallow ROM:

    NOTES BEFORE FLASHING:

    • If you are on CM 10.1 or a stock ROM prior to 4.2, upgrade to stock 4.2 first.
    • Make sure to flash the recovery provided in the downloads section above. Otherwise the older CWM will result in a “status 7” error.
    • Make sure that you have a custom recovery installed on your Galaxy Grand DUOS. If not then download the recovery from above downloads section and you can follow this TWRP recovery installation on Samsung phone using ODIN guide for the .tar recovery file or else you can follow the Recovery flashable installation using another custom recovery guide to flash the RECOVERY flashable CWM recovery provided in the downloads section.
      This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider to take a complete backup of data on your phone or take a nandroid backup. Here is how to take NANDROID backup using TWRP recovery.

      Points to NOTE on BACKUP:
      – Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
      – Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
      – It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

    1. Download and Copy the GApps and Galaxy Grand DUOS Marshmallow ROM ZIP to your phone.
    2. Boot into Recovery. Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP or any other custom recovery on your phone.
    3. Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.
      – Here is a guide explaining how to wipe data using TWRP recovery.

      This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM.

    4. First flash the AOSP ROM ZIP from device. Then flash the GApps zip from your device memory.

    MIUI 8 for Redmi 2 is right here. The Xiaomi Redmi 2 MIUI 8 is the brand new Global Beta ROM released by Xiaomi. This is just an MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM and not a Stable ROM yet. The MIUI 8 Stable ROM will only receive update on 16th August.

    NOTE:
    For MIUI Global Alpha ROM users, just flash the latest MIUI Global Developer ROM to get OTAs.
    For MIUI Global Developer ROM users, you will get MIUI 8 OTA update notifications on your phone. Or you can click ‘Updater’ app to check for updates.

    HOW TO UPDATE REDMI 2 MIUI 8 GLOBAL BETA ROM MANUALLY (Fastboot Method):

    1. Download the MIUI 8 Fastboot zip file if your phone’s bootloader is unlocked or else the phone is currently flashed to some other ROM.
    2. Backup all data on your phone (it’s your choice to backup or not to)
    3. Follow the MIUI 8 Fastboot ROM flashing using MiFlash utility guide and update to MIUI 8.

    Done!! If you have done things correctly then your Redmi 2 will now be updated to MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM version: 6.7.5.
