    Galaxy S3 AT&T CM13 (cyanogenMod 13) Marshmallow ROM (Device Codename: d2att, i747) goes official on CyanogenMod servers. Official NIGHTLY build are automated builds which makes sure the build is not broken by daily code changes made by developers. NIGHTLY builds are not stable as compared to SNAPSHOT builds and may contain some minor bugs. Here is some brief explanation of the difference between a NIGHTLY and SNAPSHOT.

    Galaxy S3 AT&T d2att i747 CM13 (CyanogenMod 13) MARSHMALLLOW CUSTOM ROM

    REQUIRED DOWNLOADS AND LINKS FOR THE Galaxy S3 AT&T CM13 (i747) ROM UPDATE GUIDE:

    Root binary is inbuilt since CyanogenMod 12, so you don’t need a separate SuperSu package to install to gain ROOT access. Here is How to Enable ROOT Access on CM13/CyanogenMod 13

    FLASHING OFFICIAL Galaxy S3 AT&T CM13 (CyanogenMod 13) MARSHMALLLOW CUSTOM ROM:

    1. Follow this if you are flashing CyanogenMod 13 for the first time to your S3 AT&T, or coming from another ROM:

      This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider backing up your phone data or take a nandroid backup. Here is how to take NANDROID backup using TWRP recovery.

      Points to NOTE:
      – Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
      – Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
      – It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

      • Make sure you have a TWRP installed on your AT&T Galaxy S3.
        If you don’t have a recovery then download it from the above link and see if the below guide works for you:

      • Download and Copy the GApps and CyanogenMod ROM ZIP to your device.
      • Take a backup using a synchronization application or using Samsung Smart Switch or if you have TWRP installed then you can take a NANDROID backup using the TWRP itself.
      • Boot into Recovery. Make sure to have already flashed a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP on the phone.
      • Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.
        – Here is a guide explaining how to wipe data using TWRP recovery.
      • First flash the CM ROM ZIP from device. Then flash the GApps zip from your device memory.

      • Reboot and Enjoy the CyanogenMod 13 Marshmallow ROM on your Galaxy S3 AT&T.
    2. Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 13.0:

    The first boot may take long time, so don’t panic and be sure that you have enough battery backup. Let the phone reboot and then enjoy the official CyanogenMod 13 Marshmallow ROM on Galaxy S3 AT&T.

    STEP BY STEP GUIDE OF HOW TO INSTALL TWRP FOR Meizu M1 Note:

     

    Follow the below step by step guide to install the TWRP for Meizu M1 Note

    Before installing TWRP you may require an unlocked bootloader on Meizu M1 Note.

    Installing TWRP on Meizu M1 Note requires a scatter file to be created.
    A scatter file of a Mediatek device is what tells about the presence of different partition and the start address of each partition.

    Either you can download the scatter file from the downloads section or you can create it by yourself using the following guide.

    How to create scatter file for Meizu M1 Note:

    This guide need the Droid MTK Tool. With the help of Droid MTK Tool we will create the scatter file for Meizu M1 Note.

    1. Download the Droid MTK Tool from the above Downloads section.
    2. It’s in a zip file, so extract that file or open using WinRar or some application and then open the MTKDroidTools.exe file.

    3. Enable USB Debugging under Developer Options on the Meizu M1 Note; to make the device accessible via ADB.

      – If you don’t know how to do this then here is How to Enable Developer Options and How to Enable USB Debugging and OEM unlock.

    4. Then connect the phone using the USB cable to the PC.

      – When you connect the phone to the PC, MTKDroidTool will show all the information about your phone.

    5. On the below portion of the screen you will see a Blocks Map button. Click on the button
    6. On the next screen you have all the partition information and starting address of all the partitions of Meizu M1 Note.
      On the bottom of the screen you see a Create scatter file button.

      – Click on the button to create scatter file for Meizu M1 Note.

    7. Save the scatter file for Meizu M1 Note in a location which you can remember and access easily.

    Now Install TWRP on Meizu M1 Note using SP Flash Tool:

    TWRP recovery download to a Mediatek phone is done by SP Flash tool, which uses a scatter file to know which address the recovery partition starts.
    Make sure you have downloaded the SP Flash tool and created the scatter file for Meizu M1 Note.

    Follow the below steps to install the TWRP on Meizu M1 Note using the scatter file.

    1. Open the SP Flash tool zip file and then open the flash_tool.exe file.
    2. Click browse on the the scatter-loading file section and select the Meizu M1 Note scatter file you created earlier using the MTKDroid Tool.

      After selecting the scatter file, the SP Flash tool application automatically find available partitions and other details.

    3. Now select the location next to the Recovery partition and select the TWRP for Meizu M1 Note, which is in .img format.

    4. Then click on the Download button to start downloading/flashing of the TWRP recovery on Meizu M1 Note as shown in the picture.

    5. After clicking on the download button you will see a red bar on the bottom followed by a yellow bar.
      When the TWRP is downloaded to Meizu M1 Note, the SP Flash tool will alert you saying Download is done.

    That’s all.

    What to do after you install TWRP for Meizu M1 Note:

    • You can root the Meizu M1 Note
    • You can install one of the custom ROMs available for Meizu M1 Note
    • You can install some of the mods available on Meizu M1 Note

    REQUIRED DOWNLOADS OR GUIDES FOR Meizu M1 Note ROOTING:

    • Make sure you have already unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP for Meizu M1 Note
       

      – Well, this is a very important aspect to ROOT using Magisk zip file. The Magisk ROOT zip file is developed in a way to be installed via a TWRP recovery or other custom recovery. Stock recovery may not be able install this SuperSU or Magisk ROOT zip file.

    • Download the latest Magisk ROOT zip file for Meizu M1 Note or one of the following:
    • Download the latest SuperSU ROOT zip file for ONLY if the Magisk does not work:

     

    IMPORTANT NOTE:
    • Your phone will not be rooted just by installing the SuperSU APK file on your Android phone.
    • SuperSU APK Free or Pro version is just a SuperSU ROOT management application.
    • The SuperSU APK Free or Pro app will ONLY work if you have already ROOTED your Android Phone.

     

    Step-by-Step guide on how to ROOT Meizu M1 Note using SuperSU or Magisk ROOT zip file:

     

    1. Download and copy the Magisk ROOT file to Meizu M1 Note. (I hope you have already downloaded the files from the above downloads section)
    2. Restart the Meizu M1 Note to boot into TWRP recovery.
    3. From the TWRP recovery screen, click the Install button, then select the Magisk ROOT zip file from the file browser.
    4. Flash or install the SuperSU or Magisk for Meizu M1 Note, by Sliding the Swipe to Confirm Flash on TWRP screen.
    5. Wait for TWRP to flash the Magisk or SuperSU ROOT file. Once the flashing is done just reboot your device.
    6. Profit!!! You should now have a Meizu M1 Note ROOT enabled phone.

    How to check if ROOT is enabled on Meizu M1 Note or NOT?

    Install the ROOT checker app from the Play Store and verify if your phone is ROOTED or not.

    – Camera, including wide cam in apps that support it like the built-in LOS Snap cam and Open Camera (except 4k video recording and gcam crashes)
    – Video Playback (DRM playback working, unlike 14.1)
    – Audio (Audio levels have been tweaked but may still need further adjusting)
    – Fingerprint
    – Flash
    – Quick charging (PD and QC and wireless chargers)
    – Off-mode charging (plugging the phone in when its off/dead properly boots into charging only mode)

    KNOWN ISSUES:
    – 5 GHz Wi-Fi hotspot broken
    – BT microphone broken

    – GCam crashes. The built in Snap camera app and Open Camera and others work
    – Encryption – Reports that enabling encryption leads to bootloops – Needs further testing
    – exFAT formatted SD cards are not recognized – it tells you they’re corrupted and need to be formatted.
    – CDMA on Verizon must make call out after reboot in order to have incoming calls/txt working
    – Possibly more

      • Boot into the custom Recovery.
        Make sure to have a Custom recovery like a TWRP recovery or any other custom recovery. If not then download the TWRP recovery from Downloads link and follow the Custom Recovery Installation Guide (it’s a generic guide which will work for TWRP as well as CWM recovery or any other recovery)
      • Wipe the data partition (or do a factory reset), Cache partition, Dalvik Cache or ART cache and Format the System partition.

        This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM

    6. Once done, reboot and Enjoy Android 10 with Pixel Experience, on your Mi 5.

    Upgrade crDroid 6.5 on Mi 5:

    1. Download and keep the latest crDroid 6.5 zip file built for Mi 5 and the Android 10 GApps on your PC or copy to the phone
    2. Boot into TWRP recovery
    3. Wipe the system partition from the custom recovery menu.
    4. ADB sideload the crDroid 6.5 zip file
      (or)
      If ADB sideload is not working on recovery, just flash the zip using TWRP or any other recovery.
    5. Reboot and see if you have the GApps and ROOT access or NOT (if you installed previously).

    After installing crDroid 6.5 on Mi 5 you may want to enable ROOT access on your phone and here is how you can do that:
