HOW TO INSTALL/DOWNLOAD/FLASH/UPDATE THE LineageOS 14.1 for Pop C2:

Follow this if you are flashing LineageOS 14.1 for Pop C2 for the first time, or coming from another ROM:

Points to NOTE:
– Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
– Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
– It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

• Boot into Recovery.
  Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP or any other custom recovery. If not then download the recovery for Pop C2 from above link and follow the Custom Recovery Installation Guide (it’s a generic guide which will work for TWRP as well as CWM recovery or any other recovery)
• Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.

  This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM

• Download and Copy the Nougat GApps and the LineageOS 14.1 Nougat ROM ZIP file built for Pop C2, to the phone memory or SD card (if available).

Flashing Lollipop ROM for Micromax Canvas Gold – A300:

STEP 1:

Download the Canvas Gold Lollipop ROM v4 and v6 and Copy these zip file to your phone memory (By using a USB cable or via adb push command).

STEP 2:

Reboot your phone into recovery mode
Or if you have a PC in hand with USB driver for your phone and fastboot binaries installed, then connect your phone to the PC and type the following command to enter into recovery mode:

$ adb reboot recovery

STEP 3:

Initiate a clean flash. Wipe dalvik cache (If coming from KitKat), cache partition, system partition and data partition.

This will delete all your data on your phone. IGNORE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BACKUP OR IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM.

STEP 4:

On the recovery screen select the Install zip from sdcard option to install the ROM. First flash the v4 Lollipop ROM and then reboot the phone.

Again reboot into recovery and flash the v6 ROM. The flashing may take a while, so wait patiently.

Why to flash S0450WW Stock Firmware/ROM on BLU Studio J8M LTE:

There could be various reasons why you may want to flash a stock firmware on BLU Studio J8M LTE to make it a new like phone. Following are some of the key benefits you get by flashing a stock firmware on BLU Studio J8M LTE:

How to Flash Stock Fimrware / ROM S0450WW on BLU Studio J8M LTE using Mediatek SP Flash Tool:

1. Download and extract the BLU Studio J8M LTE stock firmware files.
2. Download and install the VCOM driver on your PC.

3. Download and extract the Mediatek SP Flash Tool zip file.
4. Go to the extracted SP Flash Tool folder and open the flash_tool.exe file, which is the actual SP Flash Tool application.

5. By default the SP Flash Tool would have opened with the Download Tab open. If not then click on the Download Tab and then click on the choose button to load the BLU Studio J8M LTE stock ROM scatter file.

   [su_note note_color=”#D7E3F4″ text_color=”#728095″ radius=”3″ class=”” id=””]- You will find a scatter file with a name of somewhat MT6737_Android_scatter.txt in the BLU Studio J8M LTE stock firmware package.
   – This scatter file contains all the partition information of BLU Studio J8M LTE Mediatek phone and which binary file to flash on a which partition and address.[/su_note]

6. After that a file browser will be opened to find and select the BLU Studio J8M LTE S0450WW stock ROM scatter file.
   Go to the BLU Studio J8M LTE S0450WW stock firmware folder where you have extracted, select the Scatter file (somewhat MT6737_Android_scatter.txt) from there and click on Open.

7. After loading the scatter file, click on the Download button to start downloading the stock firmware to BLU Studio J8M LTE.

Verify all the details before start flashing the stock ROM or the stock firmware on your Mediatek phone.
   – Verify the download mode before flashing (marked by number 1 in the screenshot).
   – Verify which all partitions are being flashed (marked by number 2 in the screenshot). MAKE SURE THERE IS NO NVRAM OR IMEI PARTITION SELECTED HERE.[/su_note]

8. Now turn off your Mediatek Phone and wait for few seconds.
   Then you hold both the volume up and Volume Down button and connect the phone PC using a USB cable.

   – You see in the SP Flash tool, it will start downloading the firmware to the Mediatek Phone automatically.

9. After the stock ROM is flashed successfully on BLU Studio J8M LTE, you will see a Download OK confirmation on SP Flash Tool.

After being successfully install S0450WW stock firmware or the stock ROM on BLU Studio J8M LTE, you can disconnect the phone and restart if it does not restart automatically.

How to Unbrick Redmi Note 8 Pro with SP Flash Tool

1. Download the required MIUI Fastboot ROM for Redmi Note 8 Pro (based on your region) from the above download link and extract the tar.gz file.

2. Download and install the MiFlash Pro tool on a Windows PC.

4. Select the choose button right next to the Download-Agent box.
   Select the MTK_AllInOne_DA_mt6785_mt6765.bin from the pop up file browser that opened.

   

5. Then, select the choose button right next to the Authentication File box.
   From the pop up file browser that opened, enter into the SP_Flash_Tool folder to enter and then select the auth_sv5.auth file

   

6. Then, select the choose button right next to the Scatter-loading File box.
   Browse to the folder where you have extracted the Fastboot MIUI firmware files on your PC. Go to the images directory and then select the MT6785_Android_scatter.txt file.

9. Now, start the phone in EDL mode and connect the phone to the PC
10. Just before the flashing, Xiaomi account login screen will pop-up. Sign-in to the account. There you should see “This computer is bound to your account you can start now” on the login screen. Immediately the firmware flashing will start on the SP Flash tool.
11. After the stock MIUI ROM is flashed successfully, you will see a Download OK confirmation on SP Flash Tool.

REQUIRED DOWNLOADS OR GUIDES FOR Umidigi S3 Pro ROOTING:

• Make sure you have already unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP for Umidigi S3 Pro
   

  – Well, this is a very important aspect to ROOT using Magisk zip file. The Magisk ROOT zip file is developed in a way to be installed via a TWRP recovery or other custom recovery. Stock recovery may not be able install this SuperSU or Magisk ROOT zip file.

• Download the latest Magisk ROOT zip file for Umidigi S3 Pro or one of the following:

• Download the latest SuperSU ROOT zip file for ONLY if the Magisk does not work:

• SuperSU APK Free or Pro version is just a SuperSU ROOT management application.
• The SuperSU APK Free or Pro app will ONLY work if you have already ROOTED your Android Phone.

 

Step-by-Step guide on how to ROOT Umidigi S3 Pro using SuperSU or Magisk ROOT zip file:

 

1. Download and copy the Magisk ROOT file to Umidigi S3 Pro. (I hope you have already downloaded the files from the above downloads section)
2. Restart the Umidigi S3 Pro to boot into TWRP recovery.
3. From the TWRP recovery screen, click the Install button, then select the Magisk ROOT zip file from the file browser.
4. Flash or install the SuperSU or Magisk for Umidigi S3 Pro, by Sliding the Swipe to Confirm Flash on TWRP screen.
5. Wait for TWRP to flash the Magisk or SuperSU ROOT file. Once the flashing is done just reboot your device.
6. Profit!!! You should now have a Umidigi S3 Pro ROOT enabled phone.

How to check if ROOT is enabled on Umidigi S3 Pro or NOT?

Install the ROOT checker app from the Play Store and verify if your phone is ROOTED or not.

HOW TO INSTALL/DOWNLOAD/FLASH/UPDATE THE LineageOS 15 for Moto E4 Mediatek:

Follow this if you are flashing LineageOS 15 for Moto E4 Mediatek for the first time, or coming from another ROM:

Points to NOTE:
– Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
– Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
– It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

• Boot into Recovery.
  Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP or any other custom recovery. If not then download the recovery for Moto E4 Mediatek from above link and follow the Custom Recovery Installation Guide (it’s a generic guide which will work for TWRP as well as CWM recovery or any other recovery)
• Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.
