    Installing LineageOS 17.1 on Meizu 16Xs for first time

    1. Unlock the bootloader and flash the TWRP using above guides.
    2. Download and copy the Mokee zip, LineageOS 17.1 zip, Radio image, GApps zip file to the phone or keep it in PC.
    3. Then, boot into the TWRP Recovery to install the “Meizu 16Xs LineageOS 17.1″ Android 10 custom ROM.

    1. Boot into Recovery to flash the updated LineageOS 17.1 for Meizu 16Xs
    2. Wipe the system partition from the TWRP recovery menu.

    4. Reboot and see you have the GApps and ROOT access or NOT.

    This is an early build of CyanogenMod 12 Android lollipop ROM for Galaxy Nexus, brought to you by Developer Ziyan. This is a very old build.     Latest SuperSU ROOTing package by chainfire

    This ROM does not contain Google applications like Gmail, drive, maps etc. so download the below GApps zip package.

    It is recommended to install either NANO or PICO version of GApps from the above link.

    Consider taking a backup of your OLD ROM before installing this new ROM.

    STEP 1:

    Copy the ROM, GApps and SuperuserSU package to your phone.

    Do a Factory Reset/Wipe Data and Cache partition.

    How to create scatter file for Umidigi S3 Pro:

    Extract the scatter file for Umidigi S3 Pro from the TWRP file, which is available in the download link.
    If you already have a scatter file then there is no need to create it. You can SKIP to install the TWRP directly.

    If you don’t have a scatter file for the Umidigi S3 Pro then you need to create it by yourself by following the below steps.

    This guide needs the Droid MTK Tool. With the help of Droid MTK Tool we will create the scatter file for Umidigi S3 Pro.

    1. Download the Droid MTK Tool from the above Downloads section.
    2. It’s in a zip file, so extract that file or open using WinRar or some application and then open the MTKDroidTools.exe file.

    3. Enable USB Debugging under Developer Options on the Umidigi S3 Pro; to make the device accessible via ADB.

      – When you connect the phone to the PC, MTKDroidTool will show all the information about your phone.

    6. On the next screen you have all the partition information and starting address of all the partitions of Umidigi S3 Pro.
      On the bottom of the screen you see a Create scatter file button.

      – Click on the button to create scatter file for Umidigi S3 Pro.

    7. Save the scatter file for Umidigi S3 Pro in a location which you can remember and access easily.

    Now Install TWRP on Umidigi S3 Pro using SP Flash Tool:

    TWRP recovery download to a Mediatek phone is done by SP Flash tool, which uses a scatter file to know which address the recovery partition starts.
    Make sure you have downloaded the SP Flash tool and created the scatter file for Umidigi S3 Pro.

    Follow the below steps to install the TWRP on Umidigi S3 Pro using the scatter file.

    1. Open the SP Flash tool zip file and then open the flash_tool.exe file.
    2. Click browse on the the scatter-loading file section and select the Umidigi S3 Pro scatter file you created earlier using the MTKDroid Tool.

      After selecting the scatter file, the SP Flash tool application automatically find available partitions and other details.

    3. Now select the location next to the Recovery partition and select the TWRP for Umidigi S3 Pro, which is in .img format.

    4. Then click on the Download button to start downloading/flashing of the TWRP recovery on Umidigi S3 Pro as shown in the picture.

    5. After clicking on the download button you will see a red bar on the bottom followed by a yellow bar.
      When the TWRP is downloaded to Umidigi S3 Pro, the SP Flash tool will alert you saying Download is done.

    That’s all.

    What to do after you install TWRP for Umidigi S3 Pro:

    • You can root the Umidigi S3 Pro
    • You can install one of the custom ROMs available for Umidigi S3 Pro
    • You can install some of the mods available on Umidigi S3 Pro

    Well, this isn’t it. You can install customized themes, sound mods, Xposed modules etc. after installing the TWRP for Umidigi S3 Pro.

    • Download the latest Magisk ROOT zip file for Umidigi S3 Pro or one of the following:

    IMPORTANT NOTE:
    • Your phone will not be rooted just by installing the SuperSU APK file on your Android phone.
    • SuperSU APK Free or Pro version is just a SuperSU ROOT management application.
    • The SuperSU APK Free or Pro app will ONLY work if you have already ROOTED your Android Phone.

     

    Step-by-Step guide on how to ROOT Umidigi S3 Pro using SuperSU or Magisk ROOT zip file:

     

    1. Download and copy the Magisk ROOT file to Umidigi S3 Pro. (I hope you have already downloaded the files from the above downloads section)
    2. Restart the Umidigi S3 Pro to boot into TWRP recovery.
    3. From the TWRP recovery screen, click the Install button, then select the Magisk ROOT zip file from the file browser.
    4. Flash or install the SuperSU or Magisk for Umidigi S3 Pro, by Sliding the Swipe to Confirm Flash on TWRP screen.
    5. Wait for TWRP to flash the Magisk or SuperSU ROOT file. Once the flashing is done just reboot your device.
    6. Profit!!! You should now have a Umidigi S3 Pro ROOT enabled phone.

    How to check if ROOT is enabled on Umidigi S3 Pro or NOT?

    Install the ROOT checker app from the Play Store and verify if your phone is ROOTED or not.

    Root binary is NOT inbuilt in LineageOS 15.1, so you may need a separate SuperSu package or LineageOS su binary to install to gain ROOT access. Here is LineageOS Rooting guide

    HOW TO INSTALL/DOWNLOAD/FLASH/UPDATE LineageOS 15.1 FOR OnePlus 3/3T OREO CUSTOM ROM:

    1. Follow this if you are flashing LineageOS 15.1 for OnePlus 3/3T for the first time, or coming from another ROM:

      Points to NOTE:

    Root binary is NOT inbuilt in LineageOS 13, so you may need a separate SuperSu package or LineageOS su binary to install to gain ROOT access. Here is How to Enable ROOT on LineageOS 13
    If there is no in-built ROOT or it does not work for some reason then you can try SuperSU ROOT to gain ROOT access.

    HOW TO INSTALL/DOWNLOAD/FLASH/UPDATE Galaxy S3 Neo LineageOS 13 MARSHMALLOW CUSTOM ROM:

    1. Follow this if you are flashing LineageOS 13 for Galaxy S3 Neo (i9300i) for the first time, or coming from another ROM:

      Points to NOTE:
      – Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
      – Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
      – It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

      • Make sure you are on stock Android KitKat Firmware. If not then first install the 4.4.4 Firmware and then proceed.
      • Then, download and Copy the GApps and LineageOS 13 for Galaxy S3 Neo ROM ZIP to your phone.
      • Boot into Recovery. Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP or any other custom recovery. If not then follow the Samsung recovery update guide (it’s a generic guide which will work for TWRP as well as CWM recovery or any other recovery)
      • Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.

        This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM
        – Take backup of data
        – Take a ROM backup

      • First flash the Galaxy S3 Neo LineageOS 13 ROM ZIP from device. Then flash the GApps zip from your device memory.

This ROM is an initial build and have minor issues but be sure to have a look on the status. It is strongly recommended that you take a backup before flashing this ROM.     Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920F devices are getting official Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update version G920FXXS3DPF3. The version numbers may be different for different countries and different carriers. Here is a very simple Step By Step guide to update the Marshmallow Update Manually on the Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920F. Just grab the Firmware update using the SamFirm utility as explained in the below section and then follow the manual OTA update process to get the latest update.

    This update is now rolled out to the following countries and Carriers:

    Flashing MIUI 6 KitKat ROM for Galaxy S3 i9305:

    STEP 1:

    Copy the MIUI v6 ROM zip file to your SD card or internal memory (By using a USB cable or via adb push command).

    STEP 2:

    Reboot your phone into recovery mode (Hole Volume UP + HOME + Power button while the phone is booting)
    Or if you have a PC in hand with USB driver installed for your phone then type the following command to enter into recovery mode:

    $ adb reboot recovery
    STEP 3:

    Wipe data/factory reset.
    This will delete all your data on your phone.
    You may consider backing up your phone data or take a nandroid backup.

    STEP 4:

    Select the Install Zip from sdcard option.
    Select the MIUI v6 ROM zip, let the installation finish and then reboot. After the upgrade the system will automatically reboot if you are on MIUI ROM.
