    How to Install Android 10 Havoc OS 3 on Redmi 3s?

    Installing Havoc OS Android 10 for the first time:

    1. Download and keep the Redmi 3s Havoc OS 3 Android 10, the Android 10 Gapps zip file and keep it in your PC.
    2. Boot into the TWRP Recovery (with SAR support) to install Havoc OS Android 10 on Redmi 3s.
      [su_note note_color=”#D7E3F4″ text_color=”#728095″ radius=”3″ class=”” id=””]- Make sure to have a Custom recovery like a TWRP recovery or any other custom recovery.
      – If not then download the TWRP recovery from Downloads link and follow the how to install TWRP recovery guide (it’s a generic guide which will work for TWRP as well as any other recovery)[/su_note]
    3. Wipe system, data, and cache partition.

    2. Boot into TWRP recovery
    3. Wipe the system partition from the custom recovery menu.
    4. ADB sideload the Havoc OS Android 10 zip file
    5. Reboot and see if you have the GApps and ROOT access or NOT (if you installed previously).

    INFORMATION OF THIS TWRP FOR Redmi 6 Pro:

    – TWRP version: 3.x.x
    – Supported Android Version: Android 8.1
    – Built from – OmniROM AOSP source
    – Custom ROM supported: AOSP or AOSP based Android Oreo 8.1 ROM

    STEP BY STEP GUIDE OF HOW TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL TWRP FOR Redmi 6 Pro:

     

    1. Connect the Redmi 6 Pro to the PC using the USB cable and install required USB driver
    2. Install 15 Seconds ADB Installer or Minimal ADB and Fastboot on Windows or Linux or MAC as per the PC you have
    3. Reboot the Redmi 6 Pro into bootloader mode and Unlock bootloader of Redmi 6 Pro
    4. Then, on your PC, go to the directory where you have downloaded the TWRP for Redmi 6 Pro and then open the command console or terminal on this directory on your PC.

      [su_note note_color=”#D7E3F4″ text_color=”#728095″ radius=”3″ class=”” id=””]- To open a command window on Windows OS in the current directory, press shift + Right Click anywhere on Windows explorer, or some folder.
      – Then on the menu opened, just press the “w” key on the keyboard or select “Open command window here” to open a command window.[/su_note]

    5. Now connect your phone to the PC using a USB cable, if not connected yet.
    6. Enter the following command on the opened command window:
      adb reboot bootloader

      to put your phone into bootloader mode where you can flash/install TWRP for Redmi 6 Pro.

    7. Now when your phone is on the bootloader mode just execute the following command on the console:
      fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.x.x-xxx.img

      [su_note note_color=”#D7E3F4″ text_color=”#728095″ radius=”3″ class=”” id=””]While executing this command make sure to replace the twrp-3.2.x.x-xxx.img with the actual filename of the TWRP for Redmi 6 Pro[/su_note]

    8. Wait for the fastboot command to install the TWRP for Redmi 6 Pro.
      Once it is done, execute the below command:

      fastboot reboot recovery

      on the command console to start the phone in TWRP recovery.

    9. From TWRP, disable encryption and flash the Disable Force Encryption zip file

      – Then you flash the Disable Force Encryption zip file so that the system will not encrypt it again.[/su_note]

    – Well, this is a very important aspect to enable ROOT for Redmi 6 Pro. The SuperSU zip file is developed in a way to be installed via a TWRP recovery or other custom recovery. Stock recovery may not be able install this SuperSU or Magisk ROOT on Redmi 6 Pro.[/su_note]
     

     

    IMPORTANT NOTE:
    • The Redmi 6 Pro will not be rooted just by installing the SuperSU APK file on your Android phone.
    • SuperSU APK Free or Pro version is just a SuperSU ROOT management application.
    • The SuperSU APK Free or Pro app will ONLY work if you have already ROOTED your Android Phone.

     

    Step-by-Step guide on how to ROOT Redmi 6 Pro using SuperSU or Magisk zip file:

     

    1. Download and copy the SuperSU or Magisk ROOT file and the no verity encrypt file to Redmi 6 Pro. (I hope you have already downloaded the SuperSU zip file from the above downloads section)
    2. Now restart the Redmi 6 Pro to boot into TWRP recovery.
    3. Then, Select the Install from TWRP home screen, then select the SuperSU ROOT zip file from the file browser.
    4. Flash or install the SuperSU or Magisk zip file for Redmi 6 Pro, by Sliding the Swipe to Confirm Flash on TWRP screen.

    Root binary is NOT inbuilt in LineageOS 14.1, so you may need a separate SuperSu package or LineageOS su binary to install to gain ROOT access. Here is How to Enable ROOT on LineageOS 14.1
    If there is no in-built ROOT or it does not work for some reason then you can try flashing SuperSU zip using recovery to gain ROOT access.

    Follow the below step by step guide to install the TWRP for Nomu S20

    Before installing TWRP you may require an unlocked bootloader on Nomu S20.

    Installing TWRP on Nomu S20 requires a scatter file to be created.
    A scatter file of a Mediatek device is what tells about the presence of different partition and the start address of each partition.

    How to create scatter file for Nomu S20:

    This guide need the Droid MTK Tool. With the help of Droid MTK Tool we will create the scatter file for Nomu S20.

    1. Download the Droid MTK Tool from the above Downloads section.
    2. It’s in a zip file, so extract that file or open using WinRar or some application and then open the MTKDroidTools.exe file.open the MTKDroidTools.exe file
    3. Enable USB Debugging under Developer Options on the Nomu S20; to make the device accessible via ADB.- If you don’t know how to do this then here is How to Enable Developer Options and How to Enable USB Debugging and OEM unlock.
    4. Then connect the phone using the USB cable to the PC.- When you connect the phone to the PC, MTKDroidTool will show all the information about your phone.

    5. On the below portion of the screen you will see a Blocks Map button. Click on the button
    6. On the next screen you have all the partition information and starting address of all the partitions of Nomu S20.
      On the bottom of the screen you see a Create scatter file button.- Click on the button to create scatter file for Nomu S20.

    7. Save the scatter file for Nomu S20 in a location which you can remember and access easily.

    Now Install TWRP on Nomu S20 using SP Flash Tool:

    TWRP recovery download to a Mediatek phone is done by SP Flash tool, which uses a scatter file to know which address the recovery partition starts.
    Make sure you have downloaded the SP Flash tool and created the scatter file for Nomu S20.

    Follow the below steps to install the TWRP on Nomu S20 using the scatter file.

    1. Open the SP Flash tool zip file and then open the flash_tool.exe file.
    2. Click browse on the the scatter-loading file section and select the Nomu S20 scatter file you created earlier using the MTKDroid Tool.After selecting the scatter file, the SP Flash tool application automatically find available partitions and other details.

    5. After clicking on the download button you will see a red bar on the bottom followed by a yellow bar.
      When the TWRP is downloaded to Nomu S20, the SP Flash tool will alert you saying Download is done.

    What to do after you install TWRP for Nomu S20:

    • You can root the Nomu S20
    • You can install one of the custom ROMs available for Nomu S20
    • You can install some of the mods available on Nomu S20

    REQUIRED DOWNLOADS OR GUIDES FOR Nomu S20 ROOTING:

    • Make sure you have already unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP for Nomu S20
      – Well, this is a very important aspect of this SuperSU ROOT process. The SuperSU zip file is developed in a way to be installed via a TWRP recovery or other custom recovery. Stock recovery may not be able install this SuperSU or Magisk ROOT zip file.
    • Download the latest SuprSU ROOT for Nomu S20 or one of the following:

     

    IMPORTANT NOTE:
    • Your phone will not be rooted just by installing the SuperSU APK file on your Android phone.
    • SuperSU APK Free or Pro version is just a SuperSU ROOT management application.
    • The SuperSU APK Free or Pro app will ONLY work if you have already ROOTED your Android Phone.

     

    Step-by-Step guide on how to ROOT Nomu S20 using SuperSU or Magisk zip file:

     

    1. Download and copy the SuperSU or Magisk ROOT file to Nomu S20. (I hope you have already downloaded the SuperSU zip file from the above downloads section)

    5. Wait for TWRP to flash the SuperSU or the Magisk. Once the flashing is done just reboot your device.
    6. Profit!!! You should now have a Nomu S20 ROOT enabled phone.
