1. Download and Copy the dev built LineageOS 16 for OnePlus 6T ROM zip and GApps ZIP file to your phone.
2. Boot into the TWRP custom Recovery to install this LineageOS 16 on OnePlus 6T.

  – If you are on an OFFICIAL LineageOS 14.1 then you will be allowed to download the latest OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 using the updater app but you won’t be allowed to upgrade to LineageOS 15.1 on top of LineageOS 14.1

  You can export the downloaded package to the sdcard/phone memory from the Updater app by long-pressing the downloaded file and then selecting “Export” on the top menu

Make sure that you have the Oxygen OS 2.2.x or else flash the Oxygen OS 2.2.1 on OnePlus 2 and also make sure that you have downloaded the zip file. If you are done then you can move on to the next steps.

Below are the following scenarios how you can upgrade to OOS 3.0. Select the procedure whichever fits more appropriate for you.

1. Guide for stock users. Locked Bootloader, Stock Recovery, No Root.
2. For users with TWRP recovery

Good news for OnePlus 5T users as Android Pie 9 for OnePlus 5T is now available to download. This is an initial build of OnePlus 5T Android Pie AOSP ROM where there are some minor BUGs present.

HOW TO FLASH/INSTALL ANDROID PIE 9 ON OnePlus 5T:

Follow this guide if you are flashing Android 9 Pie on OnePlus 5T for the first time, or coming from any other ROM of any Android version:

– Try to avoid restoring apps backup using any application such as: Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
– Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.

1. Boot into the TWRP custom Recovery to install this Android 9 Pie for OnePlus 5T.

2. Backup system, vendor, boot, data of your OnePlus 5T phone

3. Wipe the data partition (or do a factory reset), wipe cache, ART or Dalvik cache and Format the System partition.

Upgrading from earlier version of Android Pie on OnePlus 5T (dumpling):

1. Copy the latest OnePlus 5T Android 9 Pie ROM ZIP file, Android 9 Pie GApps package to the phone.
2. Boot into TWRP Recovery on OnePlus 5T.
   – Make sure you have a latest custom Recovery that should be able to flash the AOSP Android Pie on OnePlus 5T.
3. Format or wipe the system partition from the custom recovery menu.
4. First install the Android 9 Pie ROM ZIP file from device.

5. Reboot and see you have the GApps available or not.

The crDroid ROM typically known as crDroid Android is a custom ROM which uses the LineageOS as its base. LineageOS base brings its own benefits, such as clean and secure code with regular secutiy patch merges.

crDroid is like LineageOS on steroids. Yes, it provides many more features, customizations etc. unlike the stock LineageOS which is kind of a clean installation without much of customization.

This is an open source project just like other custom ROMs which has 4 members namely: Neobuddy89, Firebird11, Gwiolf2u, Soubhik-Khan in the core team and many device maintainers.

The crDroid 6.5 is the latest version which based on the recently released Android 10.

How to Install Android 10 crDroid 6.5 on Oneplus 3 / 3T?

1. Download and keep the Oneplus 3 / 3T crDroid 6.5 zip file,the Android 10 Gapps zip file and keep it in your PC or copy it to the phone.
2. Boot into the TWRP Recovery (with SAR support) to install crDroid 6.5 on Oneplus 3 / 3T.

2. Boot into TWRP recovery
3. Wipe the system partition from the custom recovery menu.
4. ADB sideload the crDroid 6.5 zip file
   (or)
   If ADB sideload is not working on recovery, just flash the zip using TWRP or any other recovery.
5. Reboot and see if you have the GApps and ROOT access or NOT (if you installed previously).

How to Root Oneplus 3 / 3T on crDroid 6.5?

After installing crDroid 6.5 on Oneplus 3 / 3T you may want to enable ROOT access on your phone and here is how you can do that:

– crDroid Rooting guide (this is for LineageOS 17.1 but should work fine on crDroid 6.5 Android 10)
