    Flashing LineageOS 16 on Galaxy J5 for the first time:

    • Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
    • Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.

    1. Download and Copy the LineageOS 16 Gapps and the Galaxy J5 LineageOS 16 ROM ZIP file to your phone.
    2. Boot into the TWRP custom Recovery to install this LineageOS 16 for Galaxy J5.

    This is an official Galaxy Nexus SPRINT CM13 (CyanogenMod 13 NIGHTLY) Marshmallow Custom ROM . If you are looking for the Galaxy Nexus GSM (codename: maguro) custom ROMs then here is the Galaxy Nexus CyanogenMod 12.         Points to NOTE on backup:

      • Install the TWRP recovery on the Galaxy Nexus SPRINT (toroplus). (Bootloader has to be unlocked before flashing a recovery). Here is a simple guide for Bootloader unlock and TWRP recovery installation on a Galaxy Nexus SPRINT Device.
        – If you have the bootloader unlocked but you don’t have a recovery then download it from the above link and follow the below guide to flash: How to Install TWRP on Android using Fastboot.
      • Then download and Copy the GApps and CyanogenMod 13 ROM ZIP to the Galaxy Nexus SPRINT (codename: toroplus) phone.
      • Boot into Recovery. Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP.
      • Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.

        This will delete all your data on your phone. IGNORE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO OR IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM.

      • First flash the CM ROM ZIP from device. Then flash the GApps zip from your device memory.
