    Root binary is NOT inbuilt in LineageOS 14.1, so you may need a separate SuperSu package or LineageOS su binary to install to gain ROOT access. Here is How to Enable ROOT on LineageOS 14.1
    If there is no in-built ROOT or it does not work for some reason then you can try flashing SuperSU zip using recovery to gain ROOT access.

    Hello, i used CyanogenMod for my LG Phone before, after that i got this phone. I searched for CyanogenMod and found the new name LineageOS. I searched for the Rom for me and found nothing. So im using Asylum A3 Port Custom Rom but i want LineageOs back! Its available for J2 and J5 but not J330F! I found one for J320FN but i got J330F Pls do / search a Rom for me!

    Galaxy E5 (E500H) CM 13 (CyanogenMod 13) Marshmallow ROM is an unofficial build from sources. As this is an unofficial build you may not expect periodic releases. But you have everything working on this build and ready for day to day usage at least. This unofficial E5 CM 13 Marshmallow is built by jackEagle.

    Recommended files for Galaxy E5 CyanogenMod 13 Marshmallow ROM installation:

    Flashing Galaxy E5 CM 13 Marshmallow ROM:

    STEP 1:

    Copy the ROM and Gapps zip file to your SD card or internal memory(By using a USB cable or via adb push command).

    STEP 2:

    Reboot into recovery by pressing key combination or type the following command if you are on a PC:

    $ adb reboot recovery
    STEP 3:

    Wipe Data / Factory Reset
    Format /system, clean Dalvik Cache and Format Cache.

    If you don’t know how to do this then here is how to wipe data using TWRP recovery.

    This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider backing up your phone data or take a nandroid backup. Here is how to take NANDROID backup using TWRP recovery.

    STEP 4:

    Select the Install Zip from SDcard option.
    Select the CM 13 Marshmallow ROM zip file for the Galaxy E5 where you have kept in the SD card and do the same for GApps also.

    After finishing flashing just reboot your phone and enjoy CM 13 Marshmallow ROM on your Galaxy E5. After this CM13 installation you may want to enable ROOT access on your phone and here is how you can do that:

Official NIGHTLY build are automated builds which makes sure the build is not broken by daily code changes made by developers. NIGHTLY builds are not stable as compared to SNAPSHOT builds and may contain some minor bugs. Here is some brief explanation of the difference between a NIGHTLY and SNAPSHOT.

      • Boot into Recovery. Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP.
