In addition to this, we also have the Lineage OS 14.1 for Benefit A3. This Ark Benefit A3 CM13 (CyanogenMod 13) ROM is brought to you by developer lolmaxlik. Current status of this ROM is UNKNOWN. It is strongly recommended that you take either a NANDROID backup or take a complete sync of your phone data. The CyanogenMod 13 ROM for Ark Benefit A3 comes with inbuilt ROOT, so SuperSU zip file is not required. After this CM13 installation you may want to enable ROOT access on your phone and here is how you can do that:

CYANOGENMOD 13 FOR ARK BENEFIT A3 CM13 (CYANOGENMOD 13) (Codename: peach) MARSHMALLOW CUSTOM ROM INSTALLATION GUIDE:

Make sure that you have a custom recovery installed on your Ark Benefit A3. If not then download the recovery from above downloads section and you can follow this How to Install recovery on a mediatek device guide.

Points to NOTE on Backup:
– Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
– Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
– It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

1. Follow this if you are flashing CyanogenMod 13 ROM for the first time to your Ark Benefit A3 (Codename: peach) phone, or coming from another ROM:

   • Download and Copy the GApps and Ark Benefit A3 CyanogenMod 13 ROM ZIP to your phone.
   • Boot into Recovery. Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP or any other custom recovery.
   • Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.

     This will delete all your data on your phone. IGNORE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO OR IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM.

   • Boot into Recovery.

1. Download the Droid MTK Tool from the above Downloads section.
2. It’s in a zip file, so extract that file or open using WinRar or some application and then open the MTKDroidTools.exe file.

   

3. Enable USB Debugging under Developer Options on the Wiko Lenny 4, to make the device accessible via ADB.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE OF HOW TO INSTALL TWRP FOR MyWigo City 2:

– Installing TWRP on MyWigo City 2 requires a Mediatek Scatter file.

How to create scatter file for MyWigo City 2:

 

This guide need the Droid MTK Tool. With the help of Droid MTK Tool we will create the scatter file for MyWigo City 2.

1. Download the Droid MTK Tool from the above Downloads section.
2. It’s in a zip file, so extract that file or open using WinRar or some application and then open the MTKDroidTools.exe file.

   

3. Enable USB Debugging under Developer Options on the MyWigo City 2, to make the device accessible via ADB.

6. On the next screen you have all the partition information and starting address of all the partitions of MyWigo City 2.

7. Save the scatter file for MyWigo City 2 in a location which you can remember and access easily.

Now Install TWRP on MyWigo City 2 using SP Flash Tool:

Follow the below steps to install the TWRP on MyWigo City 2 using the scatter file.

1. Open the SP Flash tool zip file and then open the flash_tool.exe file.
2. Click browse on the the scatter-loading file section and select the MyWigo City 2 scatter file you created earlier using the MTKDroid Tool.

4. Then click on the Download button to start downloading/flashing of the TWRP recovery on MyWigo City 2 as shown in the picture.

   

5. After clicking on the download button you will see a red bar on the bottom followed by a yellow bar.
   When the TWRP is downloaded to MyWigo City 2, the SP Flash tool will alert you saying Download is done.

1. Follow this if you are flashing LineageOS 14.1 for Tecno W4 for the first time, or coming from another ROM:

   Points to NOTE:
   – Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
   – Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
   – It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

   • Boot into Recovery. Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP or any other custom recovery. If not then follow the Recovery Installation Guide for Mediatek devices (it’s a generic guide which will work for TWRP as well as CWM recovery or any other recovery)
   • Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.
     – Here is a guide explaining how to wipe data using TWRP.

     This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM
     – backup all data on your Android phone
     – Take NANDROID backup using TWRP recovery

   • Go to “Mount”, “Enable MTP” (if it says “Disable MTP” then no need to do anything and you are good to go from here), and connect the device to your PC.

This UMI Super CM13 (CyanogenMod 13) ROM is brought to you by developer flo071, another ROM by primo3 and another is developed by joe2k01, Rometheus, Flounderist, Deepflex. Current status of this ROM is UNKNOWN. It is strongly recommended that you take either a NANDROID backup or take a complete sync of your phone data.
