    Android AOSP 7.0 Nougat ROM for Galaxy TAB S2 9.7 LTE (gts210ltexx, SM-T815) is now available through an unofficial AOSP ROM update and this is a guide which explains how to update Galaxy TAB S2 9.7 LTE (gts210ltexx, SM-T815) to Android Nougat 7.0. Since the Android Nougat Source code release, till now we have many Android Nougat ROMs available for various devices and also we have many CyanogenMod 14 ROMs. And now this time the Nougat ROM (build number: NRD90M) has arrived to Galaxy TAB S2 9.7 LTE (gts210ltexx, SM-T815) which is brought to you by developer raymanfx / chris.     DISCLAIMER:
    I DON’T KNOW THE STATUS OF THIS ROM YET. THIS COULD BE AN INITIAL ALPHA ROM WHICH MAY NOT BOOT AT ALL OR IF AT ALL IT BOOTS THEN IT MAY NOT BE USABLE AS A DAILY DRIVER. I JUST FOUND THE ROM AND POSTED HERE. TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK. ALSO MAKE SURE TO TAKE NANDROID BACKUP OF YOUR CURRENT ROM.

    I don’t want to waste your time and my time too and hence I basically verify the system/build.prop and/or updater-script to get the build details at the first place before posting any ROM. I may be wrong at times and hence it is your responsibility to verify once more about the legitimacy of the ROMs.

    Installing a custom ROM on a the Tab S2 9.7 LTE requires a custom recovery to be installed, which may VOID your warranty and may delete all your data. Before proceeding further you may consider backup all data on the phone. You are the only person doing changes to your phone and I cannot be held responsible for the mistakes done by you.

    REQUIRED DOWNLOADS AND LINKS TO UPDATE AOSP 7.0 NOUGAT ROM FOR GALAXY TAB S2 9.7 LTE (gts210ltexx, SM-T815):

    Make sure you have a Linux/Windows PC or a MAC installed with Fastboot and adb binaries. If not then you can follow one of the following guides based on your PC OS:
    – 15 Seconds ADB Installer for Windows
    – Minimal ADB and Fastboot for Windows
    – ADB Fastboot Installation guide for Linux or MAC

    INSTALL/FLASH/UPDATE GALAXY TAB S2 9.7 LTE NOUGAT 7.0 AOSP ROM (gts210ltexx, SM-T815):

    1. Download the TAB S2 9.7 LTE Nougat ROM zip file and a suitable Nougat Gapps zip file from the above download link and copy both the files to phone.
    2. Boot into Recovery by one of the following method:
      – Power off the phone and keep pressing key combinations while turning on your phone.
      – If you have enabled USB debugging and you have ADB utility installed on your PC then you can execute the following command on a console or command prompt:

      adb reboot recovery
    3. Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition using the recovery.
      – Here is a guide explaining how to wipe data using TWRP recovery.

      This will delete all your data on your phone. IGNORE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO OR IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM.
      – How to backup all data on your Android Device.
      – how to take NANDROID backup using TWRP recovery.

    4. First flash the TAB S2 9.7 LTE Nougat ROM ZIP from device and then reboot to recovery AGAIN.
      – Here is a post explaining how to flash a custom ROM using TWRP recovery.
    5. Now flash the Google Apps package.
      – Here is a post explaining how to flash GApps using TWRP recovery.

    This ROM for Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus CyanogenMod 12.1 Android Lollipop is an unofficial build and the xda senior member andixlm and folks take the credit for this development. There is no such major hardware issues or anything broken in fact everything is working. Supported devices are i9105 and i9105p.

    CyanogenMod 12.1 comes with ROOT, so rooting is not required. Here is How to Enable ROOT Access on CyanogenMod 12/12.1.

    Galaxy S2 Plus CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM installation guide:

    Mandatory things before CM 12.1 flashing

    – If you were on CM 10.1 or a stock ROM prior to 4.2, upgrade to 4.2.
    – Install ClockworkMod recovery with SELinux support. Older CWM will result in a “status 7” error.

    STEP 1:

    Copy the ROM and GApps zip file to your phone(By using a USB cable or via adb push command).

    STEP 2:

    Enter into recovery mode by pressing your device specific key combinations.
    Or else if you are on a pc with USB driver and adb installed, then type the following command:

    $ adb reboot recovery
    STEP 3:

    Wipe system partition, cache, data and dalvik cache

    STEP 4:

    Select the Install Zip from SDcard option.
    Select the CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM file, let the installation complete and then reboot.

    Complete the initial setup, reboot to recovery and then flash the GApps package and reboot again and enjoy Galaxy S2 Plus CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM based on Android Lollipop 5.1.1. After this CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM installation you may want to enable ROOT access on your phone and here is how you can do that:

    Hi all!

    i have installed custom rom, all is good, but vibration not working in all system, also not working in all custom rom (Lollipop: CanogenMod 12.1, SlimLP, AOSP, Euphoria, Razor, DirtyUnicorns. Marshmallow: CanogenMod 13, Slim6, Vanir, LiquidDark, MK, OCT).

    In stock rom (4.1.2 JB) the vibration is working fine.
