    HOW TO INSTALL/DOWNLOAD/FLASH/UPDATE THE Yu Yureka TO THE AICP 13 ROM:

    • Boot into Recovery.
      Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP or any other custom recovery. If not then download the recovery for Yu Yureka from above link and follow the Custom Recovery Installation Guide (it’s a generic guide which will work for TWRP as well as CWM recovery or any other recovery)
    • Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.

    To everyone’s surprise, Android P DP1 (Developer Preview 1) is out and this is a post explaining how to update Android P DP1 for Google Pixel 2.

    This is a manual update process of Developer Preview of Android P for Google Pixel 2. Otherwise you will be able to get the Android P developer preview by enrolling to Android BETA program, which is not available for this update unfortunately.

    Your phone will not get any OTA after updating to Android P DP1.
    Also, manually updating Android P DP1 for Google Pixel 2 requires an unlocked bootloader on Google Pixel 2 phone, which may VOID your warranty and may delete all your data.

    If you don’t have an unlocked bootloader on your Google Pixel 2 yet, then follow the below link to get it done:
    – Unlock bootloader on Google Pixel 2

    1. Make sure you have already unlocked the bootloader and downloaded the Android P DP1 image for Google Pixel 2 to be installed, from the above downloads section.NOTE:
      The zip file comes in a package which might have similar to the following files:
      – bootloader image: bootloader-mako-makoz30d.img
      – radio image: radio-mako-m9615a-cefwmazm-2.0.1701.03.img
      – The actual Android system image: image-occam-ktu84p.zip
      – scripts for different platforms like Windows and linux that will flash all of the images by itself to your device.
    2. Put the phone into fastboot or bootloader mode.
      – Power off your phone and boot into fastboot by pressing and holding Power Button + Volume Down at the same time.
      – Press volume up or down button and select the power button when you see the Bootloader mode. After pressing power button you will be in Bootloader mode.
      – And then connect your phone to the PC using a USB cable (make sure USB drivers already installed and ADB FASTBOOT utilities must be installed as well).
    3. Run the flash-all.bat by double click on the script file.
      For linux users you have to run the flash-all.sh script file.Wait for the script till it flashes everything.

    Alternatively you can flash the images manually with the following commands:

    fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
fastboot flash radio radio.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

    STEP BY STEP GUIDE OF HOW TO INSTALL TWRP RECOVERY ON HTC Butterfly 3:

     

    1. Make sure you have an Unlock bootloader to install TWRP and ROOT the HTC Butterfly 3
    2. Install 15 Seconds ADB Installer or Minimal ADB and Fastboot for Windows or Linux or MAC as per the PC you have
    3. Then, on your PC, go to the directory where you have downloaded the TWRP recovery for HTC Butterfly 3 and then open the command console or terminal on this directory on your PC.- To open a command window on Windows OS in the current directory, press shift + Right Click anywhere on Windows explorer, or some folder. Then on the menu opened, just press the “w” key on the keyboard or select “Open command window here” to open a command window.
    4. Now connect your phone to the PC using a USB cable, if not connected yet. Install required USB driver if asked for.
    5. Run the following command on the command/console window to put your phone into bootloader mode where you can flash/install TWRP recovery on HTC Butterfly 3:
      adb reboot bootloader

      If your phone asks for permission; such as “Allow USB debugging” then just tap on OK to proceed.

    6. Execute the following command on the console, while the phone is in bootloader mode:
      fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.x.x-xxx.img

      – While executing this command make sure to replace the twrp-3.0.x.x-xxx.img with the actual filename of the TWRP for HTC Butterfly 3

    7. Wait for the fastboot command to install TWRP on HTC Butterfly 3.
      Once it is done, execute the below command on the command console to start the phone into currently installed TWRP recovery mode:

      fastboot reboot recovery

    That’s all. The HTC Butterfly 3 should now be flashed with the TWRP recovery. Installing the TWRP recovery alone on the phone will not give you any benefit…. zero.

    What to do after you install TWRP for HTC Butterfly 3:

    Now, if you want to ROOT HTC Butterfly 3 then below is a step-by-step by guide for the same.

    • Make sure you have already unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP recovery on HTC Butterfly 3- Well, this is a very important aspect of this SuperSU ROOT process. The SuperSU zip file is developed in a way to be installed via a TWRP recovery or other custom recovery. Stock recovery may not be able install this SuperSU or Magisk ROOT zip file.

    4. Flash or install the SuperSU or Magisk zip file for HTC Butterfly 3, by Sliding the Swipe to Confirm Flash on TWRP screen.

    Make sure you have downloaded the SP Flash tool and created the scatter file for Oukitel Coosea K3.

    Follow the below steps to install the TWRP on Oukitel Coosea K3 using the scatter file.

    1. Open the SP Flash tool zip file and then open the flash_tool.exe file.
    2. Click browse on the the scatter-loading file section and select the Oukitel Coosea K3 scatter file you created earlier using the MTKDroid Tool.After selecting the scatter file, the SP Flash tool application automatically find available partitions and other details.

      – Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
      – Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
      – It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.
