This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider backing up your phone data or take a nandroid backup. Here is how to take NANDROID backup using TWRP recovery.

The Xiaomi Mi Max MIUI 8 is the brand new Global Beta ROM released by Xiaomi. This is just an MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM and not a Stable ROM yet. The MIUI 8 Stable ROM will only receive update on 16th August.

- Download the MIUI 8 Fastboot zip file if your phone’s bootloader is unlocked or else the phone is currently flashed to some other ROM.
