2. Boot into the TWRP Recovery (with SAR support) to install crDroid 6.5 on Mi Mix 3.

How to enable ROOT on OnePlus 3 BeanStalk Nougat 7.0 AOSP [OPTIONAL]

 

HOW TO INSTALL/FLASH/UPDATE BeanStalk FOR ONEPLUS 3 NOUGAT 7.0 ROM:

1. Follow these steps if you are flashing Nougat 7.0 BeanStalk for OnePlus 3 for the first time, or coming from another ROM:

   Points to NOTE on BACKUP:
   – Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
   – Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
   – It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

   • Download and Copy the Nougat GApps and OnePlus 3 BeanStalk Nougat 7.0 ROM zip to the phone memory.
   • Boot into Recovery. Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP or any other custom recovery.
   • Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.
     – Here is a guide explaining how to wipe data using TWRP recovery.

     This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM.

3. Unlock bootloader of Moto E5 Play
4. Download the Moto E5 Play TWRP recovery to an easily accessible folder.
5. Then, on your PC, go to the folder where you have downloaded the TWRP for Moto E5 Play and then open the command console or a terminal on this directory on your PC.

7. Start the phone in bootloader mode.

8. Now when your phone is on the bootloader mode just execute the following command on the console:

   fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.x.x-xxx.img

   fastboot reboot recovery

   on the command console to start the phone in TWRP recovery mode.

– And there are the no-verity kernel and fstab.qcom.zip file which needs unlocked bootloader and a TWRP recovery respectively.[/su_note]

1. Download, extract the fstab.qcom.zip and copy the fstab.qcom file, copy the SuperSU or Magisk ROOT zip file to Moto E5 Play.

   adb shell mount -o,rw /dev/block/platform/soc/7824900.sdhci/by-name/vendor /vendor

5. After that format the data partition.

6. Then, Select the Install from TWRP home screen, then select the Magisk zip file or select the SuperSU ROOT zip file from the file browser.
7. Flash or install the SuperSU or Magisk zip file, by Sliding the Swipe to Confirm Flash on TWRP screen.
8. Wait for TWRP to flash the SuperSU or the Magisk. Once the flashing is done just reboot your device.
9. Profit!!! You should now have a Moto E5 Play ROOT enabled phone.

How to check if ROOT is enabled on Moto E5 Play or NOT?

Install the ROOT checker app from the Play Store and verify if your phone is ROOTED or not.

How to Install Google Camera APK on Lenovo Z6 Lite (Youth)?

1. Download any GCam APK file from the above download link(s).
2. To install apps from a third-party app other than Play Store you need to enable app installation from Unknown Sources on your Android device.

   For Android 10 version, enable Install Unknown Apps from the app from which you are going to install the Google Camera APK. How to shoot in astrophotography mode?

Google Camera version 7.0 and up comes with Astrophotography mode by default, but there are conditions that must be met to enable astrophotography mode. Usually, following conditions must be met to capture in Astrophotography mode if manually not force enabled:

• It can be enabled on Night Sight mode (only)
• The phone must be kept static (use a tripod or keep the phone somewhere to keep it static)
• There must be low light condition
• It may take few seconds for this mode to come up when the above conditions are met

– If the GCam takes a lot of time usually more than 30 seconds then it is capturing in astro mode.
– When I kept the phone static in front of a good light source, the Astrophotography mode did not turn on.
So, make sure it is a low light environment.[/su_note]

Root binary is NOT inbuilt in the OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 ROM, so you need a separate SuperSu package or LineageOS su binary to install to gain ROOT access on the OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 ROM build. Here is LineageOS 15.1 Rooting guide

If there is no in-built ROOT or it does not work for some reason then you can try SuperSU rooting guide to enable ROOT access.

HOW TO UPDATE/INSTALL Xperia XA2 Ultra LineageOS 15.1 OFFICIAL ROM:

Follow this if you are flashing LineageOS 15.1 for Xperia XA2 Ultra for the first time, or coming from UNOFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 ROM or any other custom ROM of any Android version:

Points to NOTE:

– Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
– Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
– It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

• Download and Copy the GApps and Xperia XA2 Ultra OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 ROM ZIP files to your phone.
• Boot into the TWRP custom Recovery to install this LineageOS 15.1 for Xperia XA2 Ultra.
  – Make sure to have a Custom recovery like a TWRP recovery or any other custom recovery.
  If not then download the TWRP recovery from Downloads link and follow the Custom Recovery Installation Guide (it’s a generic guide which will work for TWRP as well as CWM recovery or any other recovery)
• Wipe the data partition (or do a factory reset), Cache partition, Dalvik Cache or ART cache and Format the System partition.
  – Here is a guide explaining how to wipe using TWRP recovery.

  This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM

• Install the Xperia XA2 Ultra OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 ROM file that you have copied into the phone.

  – Here is a post explaining how to install LineageOS

• Then reboot into recovery (don’t skip this) and install the Oreo Gapps for LineageOS 15.1 package.
  – Here is a post explaining how to install GApps using TWRP recovery.
• Reboot and Enjoy the Android 8.1 Oreo LineageOS 15.1 on Xperia XA2 Ultra.

Upgrading from earlier version of OFFICIAL LineageOS 14.1 or LineageOS 15.1 for Xperia XA2 Ultra (discovery):

• Copy the latest OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 for Xperia XA2 Ultra ROM ZIP file, Oreo 8.1 GApps and/or supersu ROOT package to the phone or use the updater app to download the LineageOS 15.1.

  NOTE:
  – If you are on an OFFICIAL LineageOS 14.1 then you will be allowed to download the latest OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 using the updater app but you won’t be allowed to upgrade to LineageOS 15.1 on top of LineageOS 14.1
  – So, you need to export the downloaded LineageOS 15.1 ROM build file to the SD card or phone memory from the updater app:
  You can export the downloaded package to the sdcard/phone memory from the Updater app by long-pressing the downloaded file and then selecting “Export” on the top menu

• Boot into Recovery.

  – Make sure you have a latest custom Recovery that should be able to flash the LineageOS 15.1 ROM update.

• Format or wipe the system partition from the custom recovery menu.
• First install the OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 ROM ZIP file from device.

• Reboot and see you have the GApps and ROOT access or NOT.

  – Gapps is built in such a way that it will sustain across ROM updates.

• If you don’t have GApps after upgrading the OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 on Xperia XA2 Ultra, then flash the GApps.

• If you don’t have ROOT after upgrading the OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 on Xperia XA2 Ultra, then flash the SuperSU or Magisk or the Lineage SU binary.

• Once everything is done, reboot and Enjoy the OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 for Xperia XA2 Ultra.
