    Android M for Galaxy Nexus is right here. Cheers to all Galaxy Nexus users! This Android 6.0 ROM is based on AOSP and built by (As usual) recognized developer Ziyan. Ziyan also built CyanogenMod 12 and CyanogenMod 12.1 for Galaxy Nexus.

    DISCLAIMER:
    Installing custom ROM requires a custom recovery to be installed on your device, which may VOID your warranty and may delete all your data. Before proceeding further you may consider backing up your all data. Understand that YOU are the only person making changes to your phone. Neither we nor the developer can be held responsible for the disaster that may happen to your device after following this guide.

    Galaxy Nexus Marshmallow ROM

    If you wanna taste Nougat then here is the Nougat ROM for Galaxy Nexus.

    Files needed for the Marshmallow ROM on Galaxy Nexus:

    ROM: ROM download link
    GAPPS: Android M Google Apps download link
    SuperSU (Optional): SuperSU download link

    Make sure that you have the the bootloader unlocked and installed a custom recovery. If you don’t have a custom recovery then follow the below link before proceeding:
    RECOVERY: Installing custom recovery for Nexus phone.

    Flashing Galaxy Nexus Marshmallow ROM:

    Consider taking a backup of your OLD ROM before installing this new ROM.

    STEP 1:

    Copy the ROM and GApps package to your phone.

    STEP 2:

    Enter into the custom recovery and do a clean flash.
    Do a Factory Reset/Wipe Data, wipe system partition and Cache partition.

    STEP 3:

    Install the ROM and Gapps recovery flashable zip packages one after another using the custom recovery.

    STEP 4:

    Reboot your phone to enjoy the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0 on your Galaxy Nexus phone guys.

    If you want to install SuperSU, then follow the step 3 and 4 with the SuperSU zip file.

    That’s all guys. This is not a stable build and not yet ready for daily usage. If you have some concerns regarding this ROM then head over to the source link and convey the same.

The version numbers may be different for different countries and different carriers. Here is a very simple Step By Step guide to update the Marshmallow Update Manually on the Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920F. Just grab the Firmware update using the SamFirm utility as explained in the below section and then follow the manual OTA update process to get the latest update.

    This update is now rolled out to the following countries and Carriers:

Since Google released Android Nougat Source code, we have update many Android NOUGAT AOSP ROMs and also many CyanogenMod 14 ROMs updated and many are yet to come.     • Wipe data or do a factory reset, wipe Cache partition, wipe Dalvik Cache (if there is an option on the recovery) and Format the System partition.

      This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM

    • First flash the LineageOS 15.1 ROM ZIP file from device. DON’T REBOOT YET. Then flash the GApps and/or supersu zip from your device memory WITHOUT rebooting.

    • Copy the latest LineageOS 15.1 for Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 2016 Wifi ZIP file, Oreo 8.1 GApps and/or supersu ROOT package to the phone or use the updater app to download the LineageOS 15.1.

      NOTE:
      – If you are on an OFFICIAL LineageOS 14.1 then you will be allowed to download the latest OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 using the updater app but you won’t be allowed to upgrade to LineageOS 15.1 on top of LineageOS 14.1
      – So, you need to export the downloaded LineageOS 15.1 ROM build file to the SD card or phone memory from the updater app:
      You can export the downloaded package to the sdcard/phone memory from the Updater app by long-pressing the downloaded file and then selecting “Export” on the top menu

    • Boot into Recovery.

      – Make sure you have a latest custom Recovery that should be able to flash the LineageOS 15.1 ROM update.

    • Format or wipe the system partition from the custom recovery menu.
    • First install the OFFICIAL LineageOS 15.1 ROM ZIP file from device. DON’T REBOOT YET. Then flash the GApps and/or supersu zip from your device memory WITHOUT rebooting.

    I have a Samsung Galaxy 4 Tablet SM-T33O NU  v. 4.4.2. Will it take the  Android 8.0 OREO or any equivalent? Which lineage OS Rom? Lineage OS 15 or other? Where to download? I also need instructions about how to install.

    Do I need any other preliminary download to prep the tablet before installing   OREO? Where and how?

    My tablet is already rooted. Which way is better: download on P.C. and then transfer to Android, or directly on and from  the Android tablet?

    Can you refer me to a good, simple, step-by-step guide?  Video guides tend to be confusing.

    I am very familiar with computers but I am totally new ( and somewhat confused!) on this issue.

    The reason why I want to install Oreo (or any equivalent and possibly simpler equivalent ) is to have the multitasking dual screen feature, allowing me to work on two (READING ) apps at the same time because I am working bilingual texts ( Greek-English) face to face. Unfortunately, I tried some dual-text apps, but they don’t work very well.

    Samsung Galaxy S5 DUOS SM-G900FD devices are getting official Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update version G900FDXXU1CPE1. Here is a very simple Step By Step guide to update the G900FDXXU1CPE1 Marshmallow Update Manually on the Samsung Galaxy S5 DUOS SM-G900FD. Just grab the Firmware update using the SamFirm utility as explained in the below section and then follow the manual OTA update process to get the latest update.

    DISCLAIMER:
    Manually updating the firmware will WIPE EVERYTHING on your phone. Make sure you do a backup using a synchronization application or using Samsung Smart Switch or if you have TWRP installed then you can take a NANDROID backup using the TWRP itself.
