How to Install Android 14 on Redmi K20 / Mi 9T
Below is the step-by-step guide to install the DerpFest AOSP Android 14 ROM on your Redmi K20 / Mi 9T.
Before going to flash this ROM, make sure that your phone is running on the latest MIUI firmware.
- Take a backup of all your data from the device.
- You follow the Android backup guide or use any third-party Android app such as Titanium backup pro apk or Super backup and restore apk
- Make sure you already have an unlocked bootloader on your Redmi K20 / Mi 9T
- Download the DerpFest AOSP Android 14 ROM for Redmi K20 / Mi 9T and copy it into the phone or keep in the PC (if you intend to install using ADB sideload)

- Download and install latest ADB Fastboot on Windows or Linux or Mac.
- Follow the link given. it has all required files and step-by-step instructions.
- Once installed fastboot, open a cmd window and execute the below command to flash the TWRP recovery required for this ROM
fastboot flash recovery davinci-davinciin-twrp-android-14.img
- Enter into recovery mode and Format data and Wipe data, Cache, System and clean Dalvik cache.
– Make sure you don’t wipe or format Internal memory here. Otherwise you will lose all your phone data!Clean Flash is recommended!

- Install Android 14 on Redmi K20 / Mi 9T using TWRP recovery or any custom recovery of your choice

You can use any one of the above mentioned method to install the zip file on the phone. - Once installed the ROM file, format data again using TWRP recovery.
- Once done, reboot the phone to boot into Android 14 on Redmi K20 / Mi 9T.
- If the ROM does not have GApps, then, boot into recovery mode again and flash the Android 14 GApps using the recovery flashing method.

I installed the firmware, it’s a pixel that I liked, but there are almost no functions with android 14, even there is no customization of the clock on the lock screen.

and why the firmware should be MIUI, I have pixel experience installed, can I put 14 android through this firmware
Sometimes the ROM is built on top of some specific Firmware or bootloader. this is why I mentioned MIUI.
If you are on Pixel Experience 13 you can install this Android 14 on Redmi K20 without any issues I hope.
