Android 14 download is now available and we have seen some development around the same. This time it is the Android 14 for Pixel 6.

Pixel 6 was launched with Android 12 and is already upgraded to Android 14. Even, here are the Android 14 OTA images for Pixel 6 if you ever wish to flash on your own!

But if you want some custom ROM such as this DerpFest Android 14 ROM for Pixel 6, here is a step-by-step guide on how to install the same.

This is guide specifically made for Pixel 6. DO NOT TRY ON ANY OTHER PHONE!

You need to understand that, Installing this Android 14 DerpFest ROM or any custom ROM requires advanced knowledge to modify the underlying firmware on your phone, such as you may need to unlock bootloader, custom recovery installation etc.
If not done properly it may leave your phone UNUSABLE temporarily or permanently!

How to Install Android 14 on Pixel 6

Below is the step-by-step guide to install the DerpFest Android 14 ROM on your Pixel 6.

Take a backup of all your data from the device.
- You follow the Android backup guide or use any third-party Android app such as Titanium backup pro apk or Super backup and restore apk
Unlock bootloader on Pixel 6
Download and install the ADB Fastboot utility on your PC.
Now, download the DerpFest Android 14 ROM for Pixel 6.
Boot into the bootloader mode on Pixel 6, connect the USB cable and open a command window on your PC.
Execute the below command that will wipe everything on your device.
- fastboot -w
Then execute the below command to update using fastboot:
- fastboot update {drag & drop the downloaded ROM file}
Once the update is done, it will automatically reboot to system.
DONE

NOTE: This ROM might have GApps built-in. You might NOT need to flash the Android 14 GApps separately! If needed, flash this using recovery.

Google Camera for Pixel 6 on Android 14

Google Camera APK or the Pixel Camera APK now a days is running almost on all Android phones regardless of OEM type. You can check one of the compatible GCam APK for Pixel 6 from the link given there.
