    THIS IS AN INITIAL TEST BUILD WHICH MAY NOT BOOT AT ALL. HAVE A BACKUP BEFORE FLASHING THIS AND TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Installing a custom ROM requires an unlocked bootloader on Mi 5x, which may VOID your warranty and may delete all your data. Before proceeding further you may consider backup all data on the phone. I guess you need to have good rapport to create a new thread in the development section. As MacTavish is the developer, I think he can create over there.

    But again as @mactavishot is already here and listening to all of your concerns then what else you need ??
    – Just FYI, @mactavishot is the developer of this LineageOS 14.1 ROM for Mi 5x

    – Without any kernel log or a logcat or any kind of log? debugging is not possible.
    – If you can provide the kernel log it would be easy to find some information further debugging.

    How to collect logcat:

    Connect the phone to a PC and execute the following command in a Command console (on Windows) or a shell (on Linux or MAC)
    $ adb logcat

    You need to have USB drivers installed for ADB interface and ADB utility itself.
    – Following are some links to install ADB on Windows and to install ADB on Linux or MAC

    After collecting the logcat file, you can upload it to the downloads section at the following link:

    You can send me a message if you want some more help on this. :)
