How to Install Android 14 on Mi Pad 5
Below is the step-by-step guide to install the AOSP Android 14 ROM on your Mi Pad 5.
- Take a backup of all your data from the device.
- You follow the Android backup guide or use any third-party Android app such as Titanium backup pro apk or Super backup and restore apk
- Unlock the bootloader of your Mi Pad 5
- This is mandatory before you can install AOSP Android 14 on Mi Pad 5
- Follow the link that has all required downloads and instructions to accomplish this.
- Download and install the ADB Fastboot utility on your PC.
- Download the Android 14 ROM file for Mi Pad 5
- Boot into the bootloader mode on Mi Pad 5, connect the USB cable and open a command window on your PC.
- Execute the below command that will wipe everything on your device.
fastboot -w
- Then execute the below command to update using fastboot:
