[Guide] Root DROID2/Global running 2.3.3.


Simple One Click root tool that works for almost any Motorola Device running Gingerbread, including the DROID2 and DROID2 Global.
It only takes a few minutes, and soon enough you can be removing bloatware and tethering for free.

Instructions

Make sure you have the Motorola drivers installed – (64 bit, 32 bit)
Download the MotorolaOneClickRoot.zip file from above and unzip it to your Windows PC.
Enable USB debugging on your phone, (Settings>Applications>Development, Check USB debugging.)
Plug in your phone, and select “Charge Only”
Navigate to the MotorolaOneClickRoot.zip file on your PC, unzip and run the .exe.
Follow the instructions in the command window.
Your phone will complete 3 steps, rebooting along the way. When it finishes, you will be rooted.
