cheers bro!! will I lose any data doing it this way? and do I have to reflash Gapps?
No, Ideally you won’t loose any data updating a LineageOS of same version.
As far as I know, GApps (precisely Open GApps) retains across dirty flashes. Still it is better to keep the GApps with you, which might be handy if you loose GApps after the update.

Cheers !!

Hello,

my i9300 is freezing suddenly. I had this issue also with CM13, but could not find out why this is
happening.

I am now on LineageOS14.1 (14.1-20170113-UNOFFICIAL-i9300)

Is there a guide on how to debug things once they happen. I am not able to reproduce the problem.

Thanks!
Cheers,
Miro
<p style=”user-select: text;”>You don’t have to do migration, you can just download LOS to your SD card with GApps nano and flash both and you should do the beckup first. I recommand using TWRP instead of CWM to do all this.<br style=”user-select: text;”>
Good luck

It all works, better than the CM14.1!  Very quick!

Any chance of a Changelog so we know when to update.
