How to Install/Update Android 9 Pie on Moto G 2014:

  1. Download the TWRP recovery for Moto G 2014 from the downloads list.
  2. Install TWRP Recovery on Moto G 2014 using fastboot.

  8. Optionally, if you want ROOT on the Android Pie ROM, then restart your phone into TWRP recovery mode and install SuperSU to enable ROOT.
