Minimum system requirement
In order to play Albion Online smoothly, you should have a system with the given configuration.
- 64-bit Ubuntu 14.04 or later
- Intel/AMD CPU with SSE2
- Graphics card with OpenGL 3.3 support or better
- SDL2: libsdl2-2.0-0
- 4 GB RAM (8 recommended)
How to install and play Albion Online on Ubuntu
Go to the official download page of Albion Online and click on Linux. This will start downloading Albion Online client for Linux.
OR use the following command to download it using the wget command –
Once the package is downloaded make it executable by following –
Right-click on downloaded setup > Properties > Permissions
Now mark the Allow executing file as program.
OR move to the download location and use the following command to make the downloaded setup executable.
sudo chmod a+x albion-online-setup
Now run the setup by double-clicking on it. Choose the folder for installation and click on Next.
This will start the installation process once completed click on Finish to exit from the setup.
Now it will start downloading the remaining files required to play the game.
Once all the files get downloaded you will see the Play button in the Albion Online launcher window click on it to enjoy the game.
