It’s been a while since I tried to install a custom ROM on any device, so I probably should not have jumped back in right into Lineage 16 on my nexus 9, but I gave it a shot and I’m a bit stuck now

I flashed the ROM and on the first boot I got the “To start android, enter your password” screen. I saw people were saying type in “deafault_password” to get through this, but the system was freezing after a few seconds. The next solution I saw was to Format Data using TWRP.

Now when I boot, the system freezes as shown in the attached image.

Now when I return to TWRP I get a “Mount Decrypt Data” “Enter Password” screen. I’ve been hitting cancel and I have tried formating the data again in TWRP, but that doesn’t help.

I thought I might sideload a different custom OS, but ADB sideload also isn’t registering.

    Any thoughts? Thanks.

Edit: I was able to go down to lineage os 15. Wanted to delete this post but can’t see that option. Thanks.

This ROM is the best so far for P1000 except that it is very limiting in terms of app use of user data. I think the problem is /data/data is mounted on mtdblock2 instead of the primary mmcblock0 where /data is mounted. The users of this ROM is limited to around 400mb of user app data. I tested to move the app into external sdcard but data still resides in mtdblock2. I hope this issue will be addressed on the next build. thanks.

    Hi,

I’d like to try out installing and using LineageOS on my Pixel3 XL, but I noticed there is only one build up for crosshatch and it is from November last year, while the blueline builds appear to be weekly up to this week.

Are both of these from the same code base? Is it possible to get a newer build for crosshatch to try out somehow?

Thanks for Searching for LineageOS 15.1 for Samsung S3 Neo.

The ROM Downlink Link is wrong. It is for Galaxy S3 and not for requested S3 Neo.

So I request correction for the ROM Download Link.

hallo.. I installed Android Pie on Oneplus X with your guide rom and it worked fine. After a few days after a simple restart the smartp. it is stuck on fastboot mode. Doing reboot with tasteup-volume key, has enter on loop, in and tries to restart continuously so it’s i can not do anything. With the fastboot mode on the pc is written that the device block is on false, i read on line that is not good…. is this important? Does anyone know if it is possible to recover it and how? following the online guides I can do something but I’m not very practical. thank you

Hello friends, my finger scanner is not working.

I went from having stock rom to LineageOs 16, everything seems to be working fine.

the only problem is with the finger scanner.

Can someone please help me get the scanner working?

Yes it stops at boot. The CM Setup Wizard does not work in many CyanogenMod 14 ROMs including OnePlus 2. This might be a BUG from CM as CM 14 is in bringup stage. But as a workaround for now you can delete the CyanogenSetupWizard folder from /system/priv-apps to bypass the initial setup.

How to delete the CyanogenSetupWizard folder???

The below must be done before booting up the ROM.

    – Mount the system from the TWRP recovery. Goto mount -> select the system and go back.
After that select Advanced -> File Manager.
    – Go to the location /system/priv-apps/ and delete the CyanogenSetupWizard folder
