Xperia L CyanogenMod 13 Marshmallow ROM Update Guide

Xperia L CM13 (CyanogenMod 13) Marshmallow ROM is now live and this is a guide explaining how to update your Xperia L to the Latest CM13 ROM. Here I am going to present the Download links and other required links which are important to this flashing guide. This Xperia L CyanogenMod 13 Marshmallow ROM is brought to you by developer Olivier.

REQUIRED DOWNLOADS AND LINKS FOR THE XPERIA L CM13 ROM UPDATE GUIDE:

• TWRP recovery download link.
  – Here is a Guide explaining How to Install TWRP using Fastboot. Before following this guide the Bootloader must be unlocked on your Xperia L.
• Xperia L CM13 ROM download link
• GApps download link

FLASHING XPERIA L CM13 MARSHMALLOW ROM:

1. Copy the ROM and Gapps zip file to your SD card or internal memory(By using a USB cable or via adb push command).
2. Reboot into recovery by pressing key combination or type the following command if you are on a PC:

   $ adb reboot recovery

3. Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
   Format /system, clean Dalvik Cache and Format Cache.

   If you don’t know how to do this then here is how to wipe data using TWRP recovery.

   This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider backing up your phone data or take a nandroid backup. Here is how to take NANDROID backup using TWRP recovery.

4. Select the Install Zip from SDcard option. Select the CM 13 Marshmallow ROM zip file for the Xperia L where you have kept in the SD card and do the same for GApps also.

   Use the same guide to flash the GApps too.
5. After finishing flashing the flashing just reboot your phone and enjoy CM13 Marshmallow ROM on your Xperia L.
