An official MIUI 6 for Redmi NOTE 4G is available for download. This MIUI 6 version number is v6.5.4.0 and this post will guide you through the complete installation guide. Please NOTE that this MIUI 6 for Xiaomi REDMI NOTE 4G covers all variant of Xiamoi Redmi Note 4G. Depending your phone model you just need to download the particular ROM file and rest all will be same for all.

First of all you have to have a custom recovery (1st and 2nd link) and then get the below recovery flashable ROM zip files (3rd, 4th and 5th link) from the below locations.

Flashing MIUI 6 for Redmi NOTE 4G:

STEP 1:

Copy the ROM zip file into the folder ‘downloaded_rom’ in the internal storage of your device (By using a MTP mode or via adb push command)

STEP 2:

If you are on older MIUI 6： Click the ‘…’ icon at the top-right corner, select ‘Choose update package’, and choose the ROM file you’ve put in ‘downloaded_rom’ in Step 1.

If you are on MIUI V5： Press the Menu button, select ‘Choose update package’, and choose the ROM file you’ve put in ‘downloaded_rom’ in Step 1.

After the upgrade the system will automatically reboot if you are on MIUI ROM.
