EMUI 8.0 Stock Android Oreo for Honor 7x is now available via official OTA for BND-TL10 and BND-AL10 model numbers. This is an official Android Oreo Stock Firmware for Honor 7x. All links to the stock firmware is from Huawei website itself.

TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK.Before downloading the OTA and update the same manually, you should check if the OTA is available for your device or not.
To check the OTA Update on your Huawei or Honor phone, Go to Settings -> System UpdateIf the OTA update is available for your phone then probably you don’t have to flash it manually. If not proceed to download and install the official Huawei Stock Firmware manually.
Required to-do list and Downloads to update Android Oreo for Honor 7x:
- Backup your phone data before upgrading to Android Oreo
- Your device must be on the latest Nougat firmware.
- Download the Stock Oreo Firmware:

Honor 7x Official Android Oreo Firmware Details:

How to Install/Update Official Android 8.0 Oreo On Honor 7x:
- Install EMUI 8 stock OREO firmware on Honor 7x using SDcard mode
- Install EMUI 8 stock OREO firmware on Honor 7x using Download Mode
Step by step guide to Flash Honor 7x Stock Oreo firmware using SDcard mode:
- Download the Honor 7x EMUI 8 Oreo firmware and extract the UPDATE.APP file.
- Create a folder or directory on the root of SDcard on Honor 7x and name the folder dload.
- Copy the UPDATE.APP file that you have already extracted from the Honor 7x Stock firmware file into the dload folder.
- Open the dialer on Honor 7x and dial the following number:
*#*#2846579#*#*
– A project menu will be opened. Follow the below instructions.
- Click on Software Upgrade > SDCard Upgrade > OK

You will get error message if you don’t have an SDcard or don’t have a dload directory in the root of the SDcard or don’t have enough battery charge.
If things are ok, then the Honor 7x will boot into download mode and install the stock oreo firmware kept in the SDCard root directory’s dload folder.
Step by step guide to Flash Honor 7x Stock Oreo firmware using default download mode:
- Download the Honor 7x EMUI 8 Oreo firmware and extract the UPDATE.APP file.
- Create a folder on the root of Honor 7x’s internal memory or SDcard (if you have one) and name the folder dload.
- Copy the UPDATE.APP file that you have already extracted from the Honor 7x stock Oreo firmware file into the dload folder.
- Power Off the phone.
- Boot into download mode on Honor 7x.
– To boot into Honor 7x’s download mode: Press and Hold the Volume Up + Volume Down + Power Button

If you have a valid stock firmware image for Honor 7x on the dload directory then the EMUI download mode will start updating that firmware.
Hold back till the stock firmware is installed.That’s all.
