This is Color OS 2.0.2 based on Android KitKat for the Xiaomi Redmi 2. Color OS is a customized android based on AOSP sources made by Oppo for it’s own flagship phones. As of today KitKat is an outdated Android version but if you have a Redmi 2 and you want to see how the Color OS works and what all are the features available on Color OS then you can test this on your Xiaomi Redmi 2.

Installing custom ROM requires a custom recovery to be installed on your device, which may VOID your warranty and may delete all your data. Flashing Color OS KitKat ROM for Redmi 2:
STEP 1:Copy the Color OS ROM zip file to your phone.
STEP 2:Reboot your phone into recovery mode or if you have a PC in hand with USB driver installed for your phone then type the following command in a command prompt or shell to enter into recovery mode:
$ adb reboot recovery
STEP 3:Clear data/cache/dalvik cache and System partition (if present).
This will delete all your data on your phone.
You may consider backing up your phone data or take a nandroid backup.STEP 4:Select the Install Zip from sdcard option.
Select the Color OS ROM zip and wait till the flashing is done.The flashing may take a while. When it will be done you can reboot your system and enjoy the Color OS custom ROM for Redmi 2, the Android KitKat touch with Oppo’s Color OS.
