Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C launched with big display and big battery

Earlier last month, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9 smartphone, and Malaysia is one of the first countries to get it. Now, the company added two new smartphones in the Redmi 9 series, called Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C. Both are entry-level smartphones with amazing specs and features under the budget. They come with a large display, massive battery, multiple cameras, a better processor, and more.

Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C Specifications and features

Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C feature 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with 720 x 1600 pixels of resolutions. They have a waterdrop notch design that allows phones to offer a 20:9 aspect ratio. Both phones have 2 GB of LPPDR4x RAM and 32 GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage. For more storage, these smartphones come with a micro SD card slot on board.

Both entry-level smartphones packed with a massive 5000 mAh capacity battery inside. They come with pre-installed MIUI 11 running on top which based on the Android 10 operating system. Xiaomi Redmi 9A powered by Octa-Core Helio G25 processor under the hood which clocks at 2 GHz. While the Redmi 9C has Octa-Core Helio G35 processor which clocks at 2.3 GHz.

Redmi 9A featured a single 13-megapixel rear camera on the backside and a 5-megapixel camera on the front side for selfies and video calling. Xiaomi’s Redmi 9A lacks a fingerprint scanner. On the other side, the Redmi 9C featured triple camera sensors, 13-megapixel triple camera, 5-megapixel ultrawide camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensors. It has a fingerprint scanner on the backside.

The Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C come with dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB, IR blaster, 3.5 mm audio jack port, and more connectivity features.

Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C Price and availability

Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9A entry-level smartphone at RM 359 (~$83) price tag. It will available to buy from July 7 in Malaysia via Lazada. It is available in Midnight Grey, Twilight Blue, and Peacock Green color variants.

Xiaomi Redmi 9C is available at RM 429 (~$100) price tag. It will available to buy in Malaysia by the end of July. It is available in orange, black, and blue color variants.
