Vivo V17 Pro gets Funtouch OS 10 based on Android 10!

When it comes to Android updates Vivo is not the fastest oem which push updates. The brand has pushed Funtouch OS 10 based on Android 10 for its mid-range smartphone i.e. the Vivo V17 Pro. Only a few smartphones from the brand has received the Android 10 update so far which includes Nex 3 5G, V17, Z1 Pro, Z1X, V15 Pro, and S5. The new Funtouch OS 10 brings a lot of changes which includes dynamic effects which you can customize your own.

The support team has already confirmed this, and some of the users too. The twitter support team replied that the update is rolling out under the grayscale test. Grayscale test is none other than rolling out update for a limited no of devices. If these users doesn’t report any bugs, they will start rolling out publicly. The update is rolling with the version number 6.11.2 and weighs over 3.7GB. Further, the update is only rolling out in India, and will be soon available to other parts of the world.

Since Android 11 beta is out for some smartphones, users may have doubt whether the Vivo V17 Pro will receive Android 11 stable update. As per rumours, the device will be also eligible for Android 11 update. Vivo hasn’t provided any official statement regarding Android 11 update for its devices. We will update you guys when Vivo make a clear statement regarding the same.
