A couple of months ago, Vivo launched its midrange 5G smartphone, called Vivo V6. Now the company launched a new and customized version of the phone in China for Enterprise customers, called Vivo G1 5G. For this phone, the company targeted at government and enterprise clients.
Vivo G1 5G smartphone comes with a pre-installed Android 10 OS based on Funtouch OS. There is a feature for a dual profile with separate work and personal space are independent apps and other content. With this functionality, users don’t need to carry two phones.
The enterprise clients can be fully controlled for apps installation, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, system updates and more. Only the employee’s company allows doing that. There is no personal information stored in the enterprise space and users don’t allow to transfer data via wired or wireless in this profile. However, in a personal profile, users can use the phone normally.
Vivo’s G1 5G smartphone comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixels of resolution and HDR10 support. There is a fingerprint scanner under the display. It has a waterdrop notch design that carries a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The G1 5G phone packed with a 4500 mAh battery inside the body with an 18W fast charging feature.
The phone featured with quad-camera sensors on the backside. There are 48-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It powered by Samsung Exynos 980 processor under the hood along with 8 GB LPDDR4X of RAM and 128 GB UFS 2.1 internal storage.
The phone comes with dual 5G (SA and NSA) support, 3.5mm audio jack port, Type-C port, face unlock and other features. The Vivo G1 5G is only available in Black color. It is available at CNY 3,500 ($495) in China.
