Yesterday, we reported the launch of the Tecno Spark 5 in the Ghana market. The brand has also unveiled the trimmed down version of the Spark 5, which is the Tecno Spark 5 Air. As said, it comes with lower specifications and a similar design for the rear panel.
Tecno Spark 5 Air
The Tecno Spark 5 Air sports a massive 7 inch IPS screen with an HD+ resolution. Instead of the punch-hole, it comes with the old waterdrop notch. It has a screen to body ratio of 84%, and a pixel density of 256 PPI. To the internals, it sports an unknown MediaTek Soc that clocks at 2.0GHz. The chipset pairs with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 onboard storage. It is also expandable via the dedicated micro SD card slot. The device runs on the Android 10 Go edition on top of HIOS 6.1.
The Tecno Spark 5 Air features a dual rear camera, which is arranged similarly to the Tecno Spark 5. The setup includes a primary 13MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, and it pairs with a QVGA sensor. It also gets support for Quad-LED flash. To the front, it gets an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, and support for dual-LED flash.
The device packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery. Similar to its sibling, the device also charges over the micro USB port and doesn’t come with support for fast charging. It is available in Ice Jadeite, Spark Orange, Vacation Blue, and Misty Green color options. The device gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. However, the brand didn’t announce the pricing of the device. We will update once the brand announces the same.
