Samsung Galaxy M31s launched with Infinity-O display and 6,000 mAh battery

A South Korean smartphone company, Samsung launched another member of the Galaxy M series in India, called Samsung Galaxy M31s. Its a successor of the Galaxy M30s unveiled in February this year and comes with many upgrades. The M31s features Sony IMX682 camera, bigger battery, fast charging, and better display.

Samsung Galaxy M31s Specifications and Features

The Galaxy M31s features a Super AMOLED display panel with Infinity-O design which is the first smartphone for the M-series. It has a 6.5-inch display panel with 1080 x 2400 pixels of resolutions. Instead of waterdrop notch, the phone features a punch hole. The phone offers 20:9 aspect ratio and 91 percent of screen to body ratio. It also offers a 78960:1 contrast ratio and a peak brightness of 420nits.

Samsung Galaxy M31s powered by Octa-Core Exynos 9611 (10nm) processor which clocks at 2.3GHz. There two RAM variants available 6 GB and 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM. Both the variants have the same 128 Gb internal storage, there is also a dedicated micro SD card slot on board. The phone comes with a pre-installed Android 10 operating system along with Samsung’s own customized One UI 2.1 UI running on top.

The rear panel of the phone is gradient and comes with rectangle-shaped quad cameras along with LED flash. There are 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 64-megapixel main lens with f/1.8 aperture, 12-megapixel 123 degrees ultra-wide lens, 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 5-megapixel depth lens. On the front side, there is a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Samsung’s Galaxy M31s packed with 6000 mAh battery along with 25W fast charging support. Users will get a fast charger in the box, the phone can be used as a power bank to charge other phones as it supports Reverse charging. According to the company, the phone can be charged fully in just 97 minutes.

There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the side and also has a face unlock feature. In terms of connectivity, it features dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Samsung Galaxy M31s Price and Availability

Samsung launched the 6 GB RAM Galaxy M31s at Rs. 19,499 (~$260) price and 8 GB RAM model at Rs. 21,499 (~$487) price tag. The M31s is available in Mirage Blue and Mirage Black color options. The phone will go on sale from August 6 via Samsung India’s online shop and Amazon India. On the same day, Amazon’s Prime Day also starts, the company might offer some amazing deals.
