Realme has released the Android 11 beta update for its premium Realme X50 Pro. Earlier, the company CMO has promised that the update for the device will roll out in July first week. And the brand did this by pushing the update. The build is not stable, and normal users aren’t welcomed to install the update. It is mainly for developers to adapt their apps to the upcoming version, and for testers who can report the bugs.
If you are using the Chinese Realme X50 Pro (RMX 2071), then you can manually download, and install the new update. We have also included the download links for Android 11 beta. Android 11 beta version is out for some of the phones from various brands. Similarly, Realme will provide the same for its Realme X50 Pro in early July. It was launched in February with realme UI on top of Android 10. The device was the first 5G smartphone in the Indian market. The company says that Realme X50 Pro is the first device from the brand to receive the Android 11 beta 1 update.
However, the brand didn’t say that when exactly they will start rolling out the update. The brand will also push the Android 11 update to other devices as soon as Android 11 is officially announced. Back in May, they had announced a long term beta update for Realme X2 Pro which also includes access to Android 11 beta. The new beta update will be on top of realme UI 2. It was confirmed by Francis Wang (CMO of Realme India).
There were many other brands like OPPO, OnePlus, Poco, Xiaomi which had also announced Android 11 beta for their phones. It includes OPPO’s Find X2 series, Xiaomi’s Mi 10/Mi 10 Pro, Poco’s F2 Pro, and OnePlus’s 8, and 8 Pro. Realme has also included that due to the nationwide lockdown, they had a shortage in stocks of Realme X50 Pro. The brand tells that, the sales will start from July 9, and the pricing starts at Rs 37,999 for 6+128GB variant.
