Last week, there were reports about the GeekBench listing of the new Realme X3 SuperZoom, and this has now appeared in the Bluetooth SIG listing. That said, this new device comes with model number RMX2086, which had already appeared in Singapore’s IMDA, India’s BIS, Thailand’s NBTC, and EEC too. The Bluetooth SIG listing only reveals that it would sport the Bluetooth 5.1. Usually, a device gets Bluetooth SIG certification before a month of launch. So, we can expect this new smartphone to launch in May 2020.
Thailand’s NBTC has confirmed that this RMX2086 will be launching as Realme X3 SuperZoom. It was spotted running with the Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC in the Geekbench listing. It also comes with 12GB of RAM and runs on the latest Android 10. It scores 788 in Single-cores, and 2624 in Multi-cores. There are reports that this will sport a 108MP primary sensor, and it will also come with three other sensors. As the name suggests, it will have impressive zooming capabilities. This new smartphone will be a direct rival to the Realme K30 Pro Zoom. There will be a standard edition of this smartphone, i.e., the Realme X3.
The reports suggest that the OPPO A92s will be rebranding as Realme X3. So, it is worth noting that whether Realme X3 SuperZoom will be a rebranded OPPO phone or a new Realme smartphone. Yesterday, Realme launched its new Realme X50m in China. It sports the Snapdragon 765G, quad rear camera setup, Android 10, and starts at 1,999 Yuan. Realme X50m the cheapest 5G smartphone from the brand.
