Realme Watch 2 & Watch 2 Pro : Budget Smart Watches

Realme expanded its portfolio of watches by announcing the launch of Realme Watch 2 and Realme Watch 2 Pro globally. Both the watches are currently available to the European market, they will go on sale today (17 June). It will be launched soon in India.

Realme Watch 2 Pro

Realme Watch 2 Pro has a 1.75-inch rectangular touch screen. It offers a 320* 385-pixel resolution and 600 nits peak brightness. Its weight is 40 grams, whereas the regular model measures 38 grams in weight along with the strap. It comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and dual satellite GPS. It has a 390 mAh battery which offers battery backup for up to 14 days on a single charge.

Realme Watch 2

Realme Watch 2 has a 1.4-inch color display with 320* 320-pixel resolution which means it has a relatively smaller display than the Realme Watch 2 Pro version. It has a 315 mAh battery which offers battery backup for up to 12 days on a single charge. It also comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance but it lacks dual satellite GPS.
The major difference between the two is their battery life, where the winner is Realme Watch 2 Pro is the winner with 14 days battery life. The point to be noted is that the Pro version comes with GPS support and this may drain its battery faster when used.

Features

The new Realme watches are the successor to the first generation smartwatches with newly added several features. Both the watches feature a blood oxygen monitor, 90 sport modes, and more than 100 watch faces. Realme Watch 2 Pro can measure heart rate, spO2 levels, sleep, footsteps, calories, distance, and Realme Watch 2 has a real sport engine with 90 sport modes like yoga, running, hockey, stretching, etc. Both Smartwatches come with features like music control, call rejection, camera controls, no disturb mode, IoT control, and smart notification for social media apps and Gmail. It can be paired through BlueTooth v5 using the Realme link app.

Price

The Realme Watch 2 is a base model of their new series costing EUR 54.99 (~ Rs. 4,889). This model only available in the black color option. The Realme Watch 2 Pro costs EUR 74.99 (~ Rs. 6889 ). This model has black and silver color options.
