Realme will soon announce its whole new Realme UI 2.0 on top of the upcoming Android version i.e. Android 11. We have included the list of eligible devices, features, and the release date of the new UI. Google has already completed its Developer Preview & now they’re conducting phase 2 of the beta program.

Realme UI V1.0 was initially introduced in December 2019 which was built on top of Color OS. The brand has rolled out the Realme UI for its almost every smartphone, and there are some devices that will receive by Q3 of 2020. The Realme UI 2.0 has been live for smartphones like Realme X2 Pro, Realme X50 Pro, and Realme X50 Pro Player Edition.

From the above list, you can see the eligible devices for the upcoming Realme UI 2.0. However, the list is not official from the brand. Now, let us look at some of the highlights of the new Realme UI.

NOTIFICATION HISTORY SHORTCUT

Sometimes accidentally you may swipe away from notification from your device. Normally, you can’t retrieve this notification. So, the new Realme UI comes with an option to retrieve the cleared notification.

DOUBLE-CLICK ON THE BACK

The new feature will detect your touch by using the sensor data from the device’s accelerometer and gyroscope sensors. So, it doesn’t require any special hardware for working.

IMPROVED APP PERMISSIONS

Google has been constantly trying to improve the permissions of the app. As per the new feature in Android 11, the permission will automatically turn off, if the user doesn’t use the app for a few months.

PIN APPS TO YOUR SHARE MENU

The new Android 11 comes with an interesting feature i.e. you can pin four apps to the share menu. So, these apps will be shown first, and you can save your time.

ETHERNET TETHERING

I’m sure that, this feature will be useful to a large number of users. It will allow you guys to connect a USB to Ethernet adapter to their Android phones. And then connect the LAN cable to that adapter and their PC to use the Internet from their phone. You guys may think, what’s the benefit of this, it will allow you people to use the internet in PC which doesn’t have Wi-Fi support.

ABILITY TO DISMISS PERSISTENT NOTIFICATIONS

All the notification that appears can’t be dismissed. Say, for example, a notification like a system notification that appears in your device. With the new version of Android 11, you can dismiss it now.

TAG NOTIFICATIONS AS IMPORTANT

You guys may know this popular feature from Gmail. As you know, it will allow you to mark emails as important. Similarly, Android 11 has also a feature that will allow you guys to mark notifications as important.

HIDE ‘SILENT’ ICON IN THE STATUS BAR

The most irritating icon may be the “Silent” icon in the status bar. The new version of Android, it will allow you to hide the notification from the status bar.

NEW NOTIFICATION SHADE UI

As usual, the new version will come with a notification shade UI. It will look super cool by comparing it with the current shade UI.

NEW MOTION SENSE GESTURES

Initially, the feature came as a gimmick, but Google has taken the things into a different level now. The new feature is that you can play and pause music by “air-tapping” above the display. However, for the working of this feature, the device requires the Soli tech-packed with it.

NEW SCREENSHOT POP-UP

The new version will come with a different screenshot pop-up feature. It will come with more functions and is similar to iOS devices.
