Realme’s New Laptop & Tablet launching Tomorrow?

Realme CEO of India and Europe Madhav Sheth has offered a hint at the arrival of new devices from a tweet. It is rumoured that Realme will be launching their Laptop and Pad (Tablet) at this event. Madhav Sheth tweeted

We’ve been working and hinting about some exciting new product categories. Get ready for another surprise coming up at the #realmeGT Global Launch! I know you all have guessed it. Do reply with your answers

The poster image says “Another GT is coming ” and everything about this will be revealed at 5:30 PM IST on 15th June. 

They didn’t give clarity about anything but the picture signifies it’s a laptop and tablet. The T in the picture seems a tablet over the laptop. The specification and features weren’t revealed yet though the design can be predicted. 

The few pictures that leaked earlier suggest that the Realme book design is inspired by the Apple MacBook design with the aluminum build and silver color option and the Realme pad is a look-alike iPad pro with a slim side profile and sharp edges. 

There isn’t anything we know about Realme Pad and Realme Book but can expect that the Realme Book to be a windows laptop and the Realme Pad to be an android tablet. The Realme Pad is expected to come with a Snapdragon 800 series chip. There are also rumours that it will be released from an envelope just like original MacBook Air.

Conclusion

This would be a great addition to the current Realme lineup as they will be spreading themselves into a wider category. Although Mi launched their laptops they didn’t see much response. Similarly, Mi Pad was launched in India long back but Mi altogether stopped selling for some reason. We hope Realme Laptop & Pad prove to be a good offering at budget segments and reach the correct audience.
