Description

Realme 2 Pro was one of the solid devices from Realme. It came with a lot of changes in the under 20K segment. The device came with UFS 2.1 which now is a common feature in every device out there. Initially, the device was running on Color OS 5.1 on top of Android 8 Oreo. Later, the device was upgraded into Color OS 6.1 on top of Android 9 Pie.

Back in April, the brand pushed the second major update for the device. Yes, Realme has pushed the Realme UI V1.0 on top of Android 10 for the device. However, the brand didn’t release the Kernel Source Code for the same. Some of you guys may not be aware of the same.

Kernel Source Codes are required for developers for building custom ROMs. Since Android is an open-source software anyone can modify it. But, it should comply with the terms of General Public License, because Android uses Linux Kernel. The users of the Realme 2 Pro will receive ROMs like Havoc OS, Bootleggers, Paranoid, Lineage, and many more. Thumbs to Realme for releasing the same. There are only certain brands that release Kernel Source Code.
