Poco X3 vs Realme 7 Pro : Battle of Mid-rangers!

Poco recently launched the new mid-range smartphone Poco X3 on 22nd September 2020. The phone is the successor of the Poco X2 that launched in February this year. Poco X3 has many upgrades but is it better than Realme 7 pro?

Display

Poco X3 comes with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. Along with a big display, Poco X3 comes with a refresh rate of 120 Hz that makes it smoother, faster, and perfect for gaming. Whereas the Realme 7 Pro comes with a capacitive Super AMOLED display with a 6.4-inch screen and has a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The Poco X3 has a better display than Realme 7 pro because of its 120Hz refresh rate.

Cameras

Both devices flaunt a rear Quad camera setup with Poco X3 having a 64MP wide-angle primary camera, 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera along with 2MP depth camera, a 2MP camera. On the front Poco X3 a 20MP camera for selfies. Whereas Realme 7 Pro has a 64MP wide-angle camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 2MP depth camera, a 2MP camera, and on the front Realme 7 Pro comes with a 32MP selfie camera. Both the phones have great cameras but Realme 7 Pro has a better selfie camera.

Performance

Both the devices run on the Android 10 operating system. Poco X3 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset clocked at 2.3 GHz octa-core processor while Realme 7 Pro runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset with up to 2.3 GHz octa-core processor. Both the devices come bundled with Adreno 618 GPU. Poco X3 has a better and faster processor than Realme 7 pro.

Battery

Poco X3 has a massive battery of 6000 mAh and comes with a USB Type-C 33W fast charger. Realme 7 Pro comes with a 4500 mAh battery powered by USB Type-C 65W Super Dart charger that claims to charge the device to 100 percent in 34 minutes. While Poco X3 has a bigger battery life, Realme 7 pro offers 65W charging.

Pricing

The Poco X3 is priced at Rs 16,999 for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant, at Rs 18,499 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant and at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant. Whereas Realme 7 Pro is priced at Rs 19,999 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant and at Rs 21,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant.

Conclusion

Both phones have amazing specs though Poco X3 is a little better than Realme 7 pro in some areas, because of its faster processor, a higher refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a massive battery of 6000 mAh. Realme 7 Pro boasts with it’s amazing Super AMOLED display!
