Oppo Reno4 Pro unveiled in India with 90Hz refresh rate and 65W Fast Charging

Last month, Oppo launched the Reno4 series smartphone in its home market, China. Now the company unveiled the phone globally, starting from India. Today, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer holding a launch event in India and unveiled the Oppo Reno4 Pro. Indian Reno4 Pro phone comes with few changes in comparison with the Chinses Reno4 Pro model.

Oppo Reno4 Pro is a successor of the Reno3 Pro smartphone launched in March this year. It comes with a few upgrades compared with the Reno3 Pro phone including, battery, camera, display, and more. Main two highlights of the phone 90Hz Super AMOLED display and 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging.

Oppo Reno4 Pro Design and Display

The body dimensions of the Oppo Reno4 Pro are 160.2mmx73.2mmx7.7mm and weighs 160 grams. The phone is the lightest in the hole Oppo’s Reno series smartphones. It also one of the lightest smartphones unveiled this year. It comes with a 3D curved display, 55.9 percent curved from the sides of the display. Thanks to the curved display and these dimensions, the phone offers an extremely comfortable grip.

There is a single punch hole for the selfie camera at the top upper left corner. Because of the curved display and thin bezels, the phone supports 92 percent screen to body ratio. On the backside, there are four cameras vertically placed along with LED flash. There is the Oppo logo on the right side of the bottom. The phone is available in Starry Night and Silky White color models.

Oppo’s Reno4 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch E3 Super AMOLED display panel with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels of resolution. The screen of the phone offers a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It supports up to 1,100 nits brightness. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner present.

Oppo Reno4 Pro processor and Memory

Oppo Reno4 Pro powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm SM7125 Snapdragon 720G (8 nm) processor under the hood. The eight cores of the CPU in two parts, the first two high-end core clocks at 2.3 GHz Kryo 465 Gold and the other 6 cores clocks at 1.8 GHz Kryo 465 Silver. The phone has 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage.

The phone runs on the Android 10 operating system out of the box along with Color 7.2 UI running on top.

Oppo Reno4 Pro Camera

The fourth generation of Oppo Reno series smartphone featured a quad rear camera. There are 48-megapixel IMX586 main lens, 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth lens. On the front side, there is a 32-megapixel front face camera.

Oppo Reno4 Pro Battery and other connectivities

It packed with 4000 mAh capacity battery inside the body. The phone comes with super-fast 65W SuperVOOC 2.0. The phone can be charged fully in just 36 minutes, as per the company.

It comes with Dual LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC (market/region dependen), USB-C, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector and more.

Opp Reno4 Pro Price and Availability

The company launched Oppo Reno4 Pro smartphone in India at Rs.34,990 ($468) price tag. The phone will go on sale from August 5 and available through Amazon, Flipkart, and retail stores across India.
