Oppo Ace 2 goes official with Snapdragon 865, 65 W wired and 40W wireless charging

After several leaks, Oppo released a high-end flagship smartphone in China, called Oppo Ace2. The phone is the successor of the last year Oppo Reno Ace smartphone comes with some upgraded hardware and features. It has the latest Snapdragon high-end chipset, 5G connectivity and 40W fastest wireless charging.

Oppo Ace2 Display and Design

Oppo’s Ace2 features a 6.55-inch OLED display panel with 2400 x 1080 pixels of resolution and a tall 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone offers 91.8 percent screen to body ratio. The display of the phone protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It supports 90Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+ certification, 180Hz touch sampling rate and 1100nits brightness. 

The phone comes with a punch-hole selfie camera at the top left corner of the display. It also has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 back panel. On the backside, there is a quad-camera sensors setup in a circle. The body dimensions of the phone are 160 x 75.4 x 8.6 mm (6.30 x 2.97 x 0.34 in) and weighs 186 g (6.56 oz). The Ace2 will available in Aurora Silver, Moon Rock Grey and Fantasy Purple color options. 

Oppo Ace2 Processor and Memory

Under the hood, The Ace2 powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor (7 nm+) along with Adreno 650 GPU. The phone comes with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage technology. There are 8 GB and 12 GB RAM and 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage. It also features a Host Performance Boost and Turbo Write feature for fast read and write speeds. 

Oppo Ace2 Operating System

Oppo’s Ace2 flagship smartphone comes with pre-installed ColorOS 7.1 which based on the Android 10 operating system. 

Oppo Ace2 Camera

In terms of photography, the phone has four camera sensors on the backside along with an LED flash. The rear camera configurations are 48-megapixel IMX586 main camera with f/1.7 aperture, 8-megapixel 119 degrees ultrawide camera, a 2-megapixel portrait camera and 2-megapixel depth camera. On the front side, there is a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture. 

Oppo Ace2 Battery and Other

The phone packed with a Non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh capacity battery inside the body. The phone comes with a 65W ultra-fast wired charging feature. It also has 40W fast wireless charging and 10W reverse charging features. 

Oppo Ace2 Price and Availability

Oppo Ace2 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will available at 3999 yuan ($567) price tag. The 12 GB RAM and 256 GB variant will available at 4399 yuan ($623) price tag. The 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant will available at 4599 yuan ($652) price tag.

The phone is already available for pre-order and will go on sale on April 20th in China. However, there are no words for global availability.
