Oppo has launched Oppo A92 in the Malaysian market. It is the rebranded Oppo A72 which was launched in China last month along with the Oppo A52.

The Oppo A92 sports a 6.53 inches IPS display with a Full HD+ resolution, and a punch hole to the left. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a pixel density of 405 Pixel Per Inches (PPI). Underneath the Oppo A92, it sports the tried and tested Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 which is built on the 11mm process. The chipset pairs with 4, and 8GB of RAM. And, both these variants come with 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. Further, this onboard storage is also expandable via a micro SD card up to 256GB. The smartphone runs on the latest Color OS 7.1 on top of the Android 10.
Talking about optics, the Oppo A92 comes with a quad rear camera setup that is arranged vertically in a rectangle. This quad rear camera setup includes a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. This primary sensor gets pairs with a secondary 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a tertiary 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. Finally, it also gets a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. To the front, the device gets a 16MP sensor with an aperture value of f/2.0.
The Oppo A92 comes with a 5,000 mAh battery which charges over a USB type C port. The device also comes with support for 18W Qualcomm Quick Charge tech. Talking about the biometric options available in this device, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and as well as support for face unlock. The device is available in two colour options, namely the Twilight Black and Shining White. Finally, coming to the pricing of the device it starts at MYR 1,200, which converts to $278 or Rs 21,106 and its sales will begin on May 9.
