OPPO A92 design and specifications revealed by Ishan!

Oppo’s sales have been slashed in India and reached to 5th position when the Q1 market share of 2020 was out. And, the brand is busy with launching smartphones under the “A” series. The brand has launched smartphones such as Oppo A92s, A52, and A12 in China. Earlier this month, Oppo A52 had appeared in the Google Play Console database along with the Oppo A92. While the brand has already launched the Oppo A52 in China, there is no information regarding the Oppo A92.

According to Pricebaba, the Oppo A92 will be a trimmed down version of the earlier launched Oppo A92s. As per the renders, the device will sport a rectangular quad-camera setup on the back and a single punch-hole cutout to the front. Ishaan says that the device will be made available in Twilight Black, and Shining White color options. Just like other Oppo smartphones, it has the volume rockers to the left, and the power button to the right. The power button also includes the trending side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The render also shows that the device will have a curved glossy back, which would probably be glass. Bezels around the three sides of the display are too thin, but it has a slightly prominent chin to the bottom like most smartphones out there.

Further, the tipster i.e., Ishan, reveals that the device will sport the same 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD like the OPPO A92s. This time Oppo will be using the MediaTek Dimensity 800 instead of the Snapdragon 665, which the Google Play Console listing had confirmed to us earlier. The chipset will pair with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. On the software front, the phone will run on ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10. It will pack a larger 5,000mAh battery. The tipster adds that the Reno3 A and A72 will be launching by the brand soon.

To the optics side, the device will feature the same setup ghat includes the primary 48MP f/1.7 sensor, an 8MP f2.2 ultra-wide sensor, another 2MP f/2.4 macro, and finally a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensors. To the front, it will sport a 16MP f/2.0 sensor.
