Nubia Red Magic 5S listed on JD.com Ahead of launch

A Chinese smartphone company, ZTE sub-brand started teasing its upcoming gaming smartphone, called Nubia Red Magic 5S smartphone. Now the company finally revealed the announcement date of the phone, July 28.

A few months ago, Nubia launched the 5G connectivity gaming smartphone, called Red Magic 5G. Now the company all set to launch an upgraded version of the phone, Red Magic 5S. Not only the new chipset, but the phone will also come with some other improvements.

Recently, the company officially confirmed that the phone display will support up to 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz sampling rate. It will also come with gaming trigger buttons on the side. The Red Magic 5S smartphone will be featured with 320Hz touch sampling rate shoulder buttons located on the right side. While the Red Magic 5G has the only 300Hz.

The Nubia’s Red Magic 5S will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC along with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. For a better gaming experience, the phone will feature an advanced silver-plated cooling system.

Ahead of the launch, the phone already appeared on JD.com an online retailer for registration. The website also listed a new Silver/Grey color variant of the phone. However, the other specs of the phone are unknown for now. In the upcoming days, we expect more words from the company about the specs and features of the phone.
