After a year of the international launch, HMD Global has finally unveiled its Nokia 220 4G feature phone in the Chinese market. The pricing of the device starts at 299 Yuan, and those who pre-orders with 1 Yuan can get it for 270 Yuan. It will be shipping from May 7.
The Nokia 220 4G is a feature phone from the brand. It has connectivity for 4G networks, including VoLTE, with dual-SIM. The device sports a 2.4-inches QVGA display with a standard T9 keyboard following the screen. The phone runs on Feature OS and has 16MB RAM and 24MB of internal storage. The device features a VGA camera that pairs with an LED flash, and it can also act as a flashlight.
Connectivity options other than support for 4G on all three major carriers in China, it also has support for Bluetooth 4.2. However, there is no support for 3G, so the phone will go back to 2G when there’s no 4G coverage. Further, it comes with a Micro-USB port for charging and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
It also has support for micro SD card, internet browser, MP3 player, hands-free FM Radio, and Snake game. The Nokia 220 4G packs a 1,200mAh removable battery. It has a talk time of 6.3 hours and a standby time of 27 days. The device is entirely made of polycarbonate and comes in Blue and Black color options.
