Nokia, under HMD Global, has launched a few smartphones this year. Starting from the premium Nokia 8.3 5G, the budget Nokia 5.3, and the entry-level Nokia 1.3. A new leak from yesterday reveals the specifications of the upcoming Nokia 6.3. It is the successor for the Nokia 6.2, which was launched by the brand in 2019.
Nokia 6.3 Leaked Specifications!
According to MySmartPrice, the Nokia 6.3 will sport the Snapdragon 675 or Snapdragon 670 SoC. Both the SoC’s are quite outdated in 2020 since the current mid-rangers sport the Snapdragon 7xx series chipset. Nokia doesn’t go with the trend which we saw last year in the Nokia 9 Pureview. Instead of using the latest Snapdragon 855, they used the old Snapdragon 845 SoC. Considering the Nokia 6.2, it is an upgrade since the former had Snapdragon 636 SoC. More or less, the design aspects of the Nokia 6.3 will be of Nokia 5.3, which was unveiled in March 2020.
The report further adds that the device will feature a quad ZEISS rear camera. However, there is no information about the sensors used. To the front, it will come with a 16MP sensor. The display would come with the PixelWorks display chip for upscaling SDR to HDR. Finally, the device may be launched in Q3 2020 along with the Nokia 7.3, and Nokia 9.3 PureView. Based on the specification of the Nokia 6.3, the Nokia 7.3 may sport the Snapdragon 720G.
