{Update} Motorola Edge+ will be launching in India on May 19!

Motorola will be launching its Motorola Edge+ here in the Indian market soon. Initially, it was teased by CEO of Moto India via his tweet. Now the brand has come up with the launch date of the smartphone.  The brand confirms that it will launch on May 19 at 12 PM. Flipkart has already started teasing the smartphone. The device was launched first in the US market on April 22.

Lenovo owned Moto has recently unveiled its new Moto Edge series of smartphones as a Verizon exclusive. Motorola Edge+ is the flagship smartphone in this series and comes with top-notch specifications. Like a waterfall AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865, 108MP quad rear cameras, and many more. Today Prashant Mani ( Head of Moto India ) has tweeted that the Motorola Edge+ will be soon launching in India. The tweet shows the creation video of the device and the highlights of this smartphone.

However, the tweet doesn’t reveal when correctly, the device will be launching in India. OnePlus has recently unveiled the new OnePlus 8 series here in India. Due to the extended lockdown, the device hasn’t gone for sale. It is likely to be revealed once the lockdown ends or if the Indian Govt. gives permission for e-commerce platforms to conduct transactions. Hence it is expected to arrive in May or June 2020. The device is priced at $ 999 in the US and will take the lies of Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, and the OnePlus 8 Pro.

To recall, the Motorola Edge+ sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and a single punch-hole to the left. Underneath the device, it features the Snapdragon 865 SoC, paired with 12GB RAM, and 256GB of USF 3.0 internal storage. The triple rear camera setup includes a primary 108MP sensor. And this will pair with an 8MP telephoto sensor, 16MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 3D TOF sensor. Further, it packs a 5000mAh battery that comes with support for 18W fast charging.
