Apart from Xiaomi, Realme is one of the few smartphone brands which releases the Kernel Source Code for its smartphones. The brand has released source codes for all of its smartphones. Some of you guys may know that Kernel Source Code is used for building custom ROMs. Recently, the brand has released the source code of the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition. Most of the Realme devices have awesome developer support now. I’m using Realme X2, and within 8 months of launch, the device has a lot of ROMs. The brand has now released the Kernel Source Code of Realme 1 and Realme U1.
Both of these devices were launched with Helio P60 & Helio P70 respectively. Both the source codes are based on Android 9 Pie. Earlier, there were reports that Realme is working on source codes for these devices. The brand is constantly supporting its devices. It is good to see, and other brands should also follow this. Like what Asus has done with the Rog Phone 3‘s source code i.e. unified with the Zenfone 7’s code. Realme has also unified the source codes of Realme 1 and Realme U1.
