Huawei has been pushing out its EMUI 10.1 for the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro in some European countries. Now, a new report is out about the EMUI 10.1 update for the users in Canada. According to the source, the update will roll out on August 5 for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

The schedule was published by Fido and all other carriers are yet to update the schedule. Other carriers like Rogers and Telus will soon release the schedule. Till date, the update has been released in countries like Sweden, Poland, UK, Slovakia, Macedonia, KSA, UAE, Philippines, Ireland, and in many more.

Huawei has been rolling out Android 10 updates for its smartphones which were launched before the ban by America. The phones launched after the ban don’t have GMS, and US Govt allowed the brand to give updates for older phones. Earlier this week, the brand has started rolling out EMUI 10.1 on top of Android 10 for the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G in Europe. Now, the update is also rolling out for the Huawei Mate 20, and Mate 20 Pro in the same region. The update is rolling out in European countries like Denmark, and Poland.

As usual, the update is rolling out as OTA (Over the Air) and will be rolling out as batches. So, it will take some time to reach your device. If you need to update it manually, you can do it from their Support app. The update for the Huawei Mate 20, and Mate 20 Pro comes with the version number 10.1.0.270, and it weighs over 4.71GB and 4.57GB respectively.

The new EMUI 10.1 comes with various features like new fingerprint animation, colorful AOD aKa Always on Display, Multi-window, Smart charge, Huawei Assistant, Huawei Browser, updated navigation gestures, and finally a newer security patch. Please do check for update via system first, if it’s not showing update you can do it via support app. For checking for the update you can head to Settings then tap on System & updates. Now click on the Software Update, and tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES for checking updates. If updates are available then tap on Download and install. If updates aren’t available, now you can do it via the support app.

How to download, and install the update via Support app

• For this, first, open your support app.
• Now select the Services tab.
• Click on update, then click on check for update.
• Now tap on Download and install.
